Westlea House is a gem! The rooms are beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean with comfortable beds and great showers. We stayed in the Munro room and loved the view of the mountains. We also stayed in the Beach room (an unexpected extension of our stay that Terry and Shirley kindly accommodated) and loved the seaside décor. Lots of lovely amenities and use of a fridge. Breakfasts are delicious and the selection is huge. Personal favourites were the bacon sandwich (so much more than it sounds) and the cheese tray. Terry and Shirley were wonderful hosts and went above and beyond when we blew a tire on departure day. Westlea House is within walking distance of everything in Ullapool, including the Seafood Shack (kept going back, so good), Tesco and the Ullapool Laundry (same day laundry for a reasonable price). It's the perfect place to stay on the West coast!…

Shirley and Terry are welcoming, attentive and informative hosts. Second time stay but not our last. Warmth of the hospitality also matched by the superb Aga woodturner, a bonus for Autumn breaks. Love all the artwork on the walls and Wunderkammer of curiosities in the lounge areas. Breakfasts are excellent, well cooked and beautifully presented, the smoked salmon was delicious. Stayed in Harbour, nice and cosy for October and the seating area at the window was great to admire the views, Munro also recommended. The rooms have been well thought out and are very stylish, excellent shower room. The real bonus is being able to buy takeaway meals and sit in the dining room and natter to other like minded guests.

Westlea, was a delightful B&B conveniently situated in the township of Ullapool. Our hosts, were welcoming and hospitable, the breakfast was delicious and the amenities exceeded our expectations. We will stay there again!

Highly recommend the Westlea House. Owners Terry and Shirley made us feel very welcome. They made us feel very at home. And the morning breakfast was amazing. The room was more than big enough and the bed was very comfortable. Off the main road, it was quiet, yet only a few minutes walk into town. If/when we go back to Ullapool, we WILL be staying at the Westlea House

Very comfortable and clean, friendly owners, excellent choice of healthy breakfasts. We love their style. Well placed near the centre of Ullapool on a quiet street with free off-road parking at the front. We have gone every year since 2015. Highly recommended.

Westlea House is the most wonderful Bed and Breakfast ! The hosts, Terry and Shirley, are most welcoming and helpful with whatever you would like to do in Ullapool and the surrounding area. I can not say enough about the beautiful home. Just perfect in every way. Rooms and bathrooms were so clean and had every thing you would ever need. Great decor. Quiet but close to town. Breakfast was delicious with home baked croissants! Wish we could have stayed longer...just a gem.

What a lovely guest house in the heart of beautiful Ullapool. The host was extremely welcoming and helpful. The themed Beach room was wonderfully appointed and the whole place tastefully designed in keeping with the area. Breakfast freshly cooked and everywhere spotlessly clean. Fantastic friendly hosts Terry & Shirley have created a home from home boutique B&B. Clean, modern, cosy feel in the bedrooms. Downstairs is a breakfast room and lounge area in which to eat take away or relax with a glass of wine on the couches whilst exploring the extensive music CD & vinyl collection , had a fun night in !! Handy Parking out front. There is a fantastic wood fired pizza van within a 2 minute walk. Also nearby a handy service wash laundry. Breakfast is scrumptious. This is the only place to stay in Ullapool.
