Very comfortable private room with a wonderful sea view. Great breakfasts and such attentive hosts with lots of useful tips and information about the area. The island of Harris is a place to fall in love with and this B&B will be part of it. Highly recommended

The drive to find it was a little off the beaten track, but it was well worth it. The hosts were friendly and very knowledgable, the bedroom and bathroom were spotless, the breakfast was great, but.... the real treasure is the view of Flodabay, slimply amazing

I have stayed in many B&Bs throughout Scotland while I have not experienced any bad service and was always satisfied. But Tigh an Eilein was something special, even better. A perfect combination of all details. First, there is the great locality (nice, quiet, almost private-looking bay with great view on the magnificient Isle of Harris with all the sites of...

❤️Immaculate accommodation, THE loveliest hosts and amazing views!❤️ Our room was great; comfortable, delicious shortbread to go with tea and coffee. En suite has super shower room. Breakfast was fab, just as we ordered on the super organised breakfast order sheet (courtesy of owner's daughters)! Totally recommend this B&B! ❤️

Spent two nights here - should have been three but weather delayed flight to Benbecula, and meant we missed ferry. Christina and Harvey were very kind and welcoming when we finally arrived early the morning after our planned arrival. Location on Bays of Harris is glorious. Room very clean and comfortable with splendid views. Excellent breakfast. We stayed on Harris...

Flodabay is a tiny hamlet on the south coast of Harris, accessed by "the Golden Road" - a single tracked road with passing places from Tarbert to Leverburgh which due to its twists and turns has to be negotiated carefully especially as there are frequent wandering sheep. Don't consider this if you are a nervous driver! However the views along...

We had a lovely 2 night stay here in April and we couldn't have hoped for better accommodation for our first trip to Harris. Tigh an Eilein is a beautiful house with amazing views and made for a really comfortable stay. Christina and Harvey are wonderful hosts and couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was...

Superb B and B - homely, spotlessly clean and delicious breakfasts. Christina and Harvey were so welcoming and told us about places to visit. Our favourite place was Luskentyre and the sand dunes. Didn't have enough time to see everything so hope to make a return visit to Tigh an Eilein. We want to see the seals and otter again...

What a wonderful place to stay. I spent four nights with Harvey and Christine and left saying goodbye to friends. I was made very welcome in their beautiful, comfortable home and nothing was too much trouble. I was even encouraged to use their telephone when my mobile had no signal. My complementary beverage tray was generously stocked and this included...

Harvey and Christina are genuinely nice and care for your every need. They know the island perfectly and can advise on what to do according to your motivations. The facility is top notch and the view from the room amazing. The breakfast is good and plentiful. Good for the people looking to be far from the bustling world. We would...
