We have just returned from a week's stay at one of the holiday cottages. It is the 6th time we have been in the past 5 years and I couldn't recommend it more! Beautiful location, the house its self was very clean and comfortable, perfect for large families. We enjoyed a couple of drinks at the Gwbert Hotel and the staff were very friendly. We can't wait to return again next year!

Beautiful place for a short break....or longer if you have the time. Fantastic views from the bedroom, great food, friendly, efficient staff...I cannot fault the hotel at all. And dig friendly too. Stay here if you want to really relax.

Lovely bar / restaurant, we had Sunday lunch and food was excellent value, more importantly very tasty and well cooked. As we are dog owners it’s difficult to blend having good food and the venue being accommodating for our furry friends, they managed this easily and will defiantly be back

There are certain places that leave an indelible mark on ones memory, and Gwbert is one of mine. It's situation alongside the estuary where the Teifi flows out into Cardigan Bay, provides the hotel's guests with an ever changing backdrop whatever the weather. We were fortunate to have the luxury suite for 3 nights at £195 per including a handsome Welsh breakfast, nicely setting us up for the day. The vast room with it's separate sitting area afforded us a most comfortable stay, with the eye constantly drawn to the mesmerising waters outside. It included a rather intimidating slipper bath to one side, inviting us to strip off and jump in, but there was a walk-in shower option. Take your choice! The hotel's dining room offers several tables with window seats, but the food is good enough, in the main, to keep you occupied. Our Saturday nights meal of whitebait and curried chicken with coconut rice was exceptional, all served by some of the loveliest staff, Ilona and Annie striving hard in particular to offset an earlier disappointment. They were outstanding, and ensured our view of the setting sun was well lubricated with very good house wines. The hotel allows easy access to some outstanding coastal sites, including Mwnt and Poppit Sands, as well as the bustling market town of Cardigan and the pretty St. Dogmaels, with Newport, Aberporth and Cenarth Falls nearby. One abiding memory that remains is the sight of hundreds of honking geese returning to roost as the sun goes down. …

This rooms in this hotel are well furnished and the sea views in this beautiful area are fantastic. Sadly the restuarant and bar are very disappointing. Dinner was very poor and the beer menu is limited. There are many good local beers to serve and none of these were available here.

I would highly recommend a visit to the Gwbert Hotel overlooking the tremendously beautiful Teifi estuary, Cardigan Bay and Poppit Sands. The hotel has onsite parking, and we had a warm welcome on arrival. We had a sea view room, ensuite shower and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, unlike some hotels. The room itself was clean and presentable and provided us with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The housekeeper was very helpful and pleasant, as were all the staff. The waiters and waitresses at the Bistro were attentive and the food is excellent. There is a lift for anyone with mobility issues, or those not wanting to carry a suitcase up stairs.

The staff were lovely, Ilona was the best person going be it at the late end of the night or directing myself and colleagues of various things do in the days off in the surrounding area. Couldn't have asked for a better person to have working in the place!

We stayed here for a week at the end of July. Stayed in room 1 which was a suite. It has the most amazing view out over the estuary. The room was really well equipped: refrigerator, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, fan, hospitality try, Tassimo machine. The staff here are always friendly- big shout out to Jamie who looked after a very busy breakfast shift on his own one morning. He was great! Breakfast is lovely and fresh- especially the mushrooms. Thank you for another lovely stay.
