Went to Cardigan for a last minute short break . Booked The Highbury , and was pleasantly surprised . Spotlessly clean , spacious ensuite room , comfy bed . and good shower. Breakfast was well organised and tasty , very good bacon. Staff were friendly and efficient. Great location central to town. Would stay here again if in the area.

Close to the castle and river, offering a great and varied breakfast in a large conservatory and a warm welcome. Clean and comfortable rooms with all the usual facilities. We wished we had had more time to explore the town.

Food wouldn't Evan be classed as average!! Service was absolutely discussing! The older lady who works there was rude and a nationalist. She had no respect for me or any of my friends and family. We were all highly disappointed with her behaviour and attitude. At the end of the poorly cooked meal, we decided to tell the lady that we were not happy, she spent the whole time nodding her head and then just walked away! Not Evan a sorry! It was my birthday and I was so highly disappointed! Would not recommended to anybody!! (I did not stay at the b&b, just went there for a meal for my birthday).

I am absolutely disgusted with this place the owner/cook was a nationalist we are English and have lived in Wales for 14 years and got treated like rubbish.we booked a table for 18 when we turned up we had two separate tables, they didn't tell us on the phone they couldn't cater for all of us. We had two vegetarians that'sone lady was horrible to them because we didn't tell them on the phone when they didn't ask she was rude to them. The food was sloppy the service was rubbish, I complained to theC cook and she didnt listen to what I had to say, she just walked away from me, I have never complained about service in restaurants or quality of food but I am not happy with this, it was my sisters birthday and the day was ruined we have lived in cardigan for 14 years and we get treated like scum. Complete disgusted it's made me feel sad and angry I recommend that you do not got there its not worth the money one guest of our party refused to eat not happy at all

On arrival(pre booked) we was told that we would have to sit on separate tables which was not mentioned when booked, we had to wait 10 minutes to be served the meat from the carvery, the cook/chef was rude and unwelcoming to us and her staff, some of our party had to wait for the vegetarian meal, which we was told,"I will see what I've got"there was no option for this as stated on their website,we will never eat there again because of the unwelcoming and rude attitude we received.

I stayed here for one night to attend a concert. This hotel is in a great location, only a couple of minutes walk to the theatre, and plenty of places to eat nearby.

When I arrived I was greeted by the very friendly and helpful hostess, who gave me directions to the theatre and made sure I had everything I needed. I had a lovely twin room – spotlessly clean and spacious with an en-suite bathroom. It was comfortable and well equipped with a sofa in the window, wi-fi, tea and coffee, hair dryer, and TV.

Breakfast was tasty, with plenty of choices, and served very quickly. My stay was excellent value for money too - only wish I'd been staying longer!

We were visiting properties in the area for a couple of days. We decided to stop at the Highbury guest house on the basis of feedback, and we were not disappointed. Very friendly welcome, very clean rooms, well decorated and modern. A fantastic breakfast included. Although hurricane Brian did it's best to disturb us both me and my wife slept soundly in a quite, comfortable room. Well done to the proprietor and staff.

A traditional B&B, very welcoming, clean and comfortable providing a good breakfast and very central to Cardigan High street. Facilities included an en suite, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and off street parking. Good value for money.
There are a lot of stairs so if you have mobility problems, it would be wise to speak to the owners first.

Having stayed in a few days during December and January with work colleagues, I have to comment on the lack of heating during both stays. It is unacceptable that during the coldest months that there is no over night heating !!!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. We were disappoint that the B&B was inflexible with our request to have breakfast served at 6.30, as we were working locally erecting a Wind Turbine.
Even a piece of toast would have been appreciated.
