Really nice clean room with a wonderful view over the harbour, and just a short walk to the pub/cafe's.I like the no breakfast part as you get a nice long lie in with a nice comfy bed a large shower room and ample storage for your clothes. All in all a lovely guest house inside and out.Fully enjoyed my three night stay...

Once again a fad stay at a lovely guest house, the couple who run it are welcoming and very helpful, the room and the view was lovely, we love the place as it is room only and you don't have to get up early for breakfast, all the cafes and restaurants are within walking distance

This guest house is a one-off in Barmouth, architecturally speaking, and well worth a visit. It's in an ideal location, raised up right over the quay. It's a friendly informal sort of place, stuffed with Deco bits and pieces. Our room had one window looking at the mountain and another looking along the bay so we got both aspects. The...

Pros: Very clean and well decorated and great location, lovely views, easy parking, easy booking with good response from the hosts. Great for one night. Cons: The bed was not great, it could do with a mattress topper as they work wonders on old beds. The woman who showed us in was polite but she couldn't get away fast enough....

Thank you for taking the trouble to write us a review all the way from sunny California! I think your "Pros" are spot on thank you. Regarding the bed, they are all modern with regularly changed mattresses and we have only ever received one complaint before, justified, as a spring had popped, and we changed the mattress immediately. I must...

Spotless, comfortable rooms with nice views, some of the estuary and dunes. Plenty of tea/coffee in your room. Lovely art deco building with sympathetic interior style. Free off road parking. As Danny and Lisa were away, we were met by their daughter, Toni, who was so friendly and helpful. Don't be concerned that this is a room-only guest house as...

My boyfriend and I found this place online at the last minute and didn't know what to expect but we were greeted by wonderfully warm and relaxed hosts who made us feel at home as soon as we drove in. The location is perfect as it's right by the seaside and we could see the ocean from our room. The...

We have just returned from another fantastic long weekend staying at The Sunray. We had a lovely twin room (room 5) which we have stayed in before. It's bright and airy and has lovely views over the beach, the boatyard and across the town. The room is situated at the back of the building and is very peaceful at night...
