It is at the far end of Marine Parade, far enough away from the town centre for it to be peaceful but still close enough to walk. It is the the closest guest house to the beach in Barmouth. The front rooms give picture postcard views of the beach and promenade.

We spent 3 nights in Barmouth at this guest house which was very comfortable. En suite room at a reasonable price, We were welcomed warmly on arrival & given clear advice on where to locate the guest house, where to park for free & suggestions for breakfast before we arrived. The fridge in the room was very useful too, a nice extra which is normal in North America but not yet in the UK. Can recommend this guest house. We had room 2 which overlooked the side street but that did not bother us. We got our views on our lovely hikes. The car was parked up throughout our stay as we walked from the house twice & used the train to Tal y Bont one day & walked back to Barmouth at a high level.

We couldn’t of asked for more at this budget hotel. The room was immaculately clean we were offered a supply of all cutlery teabags and coffee at the main entrance and there was a small fridge in the room which was a fantastic help.
We were away from the main town which was a blessing as there wasn’t any noise late at night, yet the main town was less than a five minute walk with lots of amenities to hand.
For the money we got maximum comfort and maximum benefits with the beach a stone throw away.
We are looking to go back again this year because we enjoyed it so much and our guess were very attentive nothing was too much trouble!

We were not too sure what we would find at Mor Wyn as they don't do breakfast but the price is very right !
Our room, Number 3 was very clean, very large and a VERY good sea view.
Breakfast was taken daily at the Min y Mor which is a 3 minute walk up the road.
Even with the £10.50 per breakfast on top of the room charge this was still a real bargain. If you like Wales Barmouth is lovely.

Stayed here for 5 nights from the 8th August. Stayed with my partner and 9yr old daughter. We come to Barmouth every year and usually stay in a caravan but Mor Wyn was the only place available at that time. The location is fab, across the road from the beach and a 2minute walk to the town. We had a lovely 4 poster bed, the room was clean, and we had a tray with a kettle. You can help yourself to tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, milk and sugar downstairs and there is also a mini fridge in your room. We were very pleased with our stay and it's great value for money. We would definitely stay here again.

Just had a lovely 3 nights at this little Gem, stayed with my husband, 8 year old daughter and our dog. We couldn't have been made more welcome by Caroline. We had the top room which overlooked the beach and the room had everything we needed for our stay. Due to covid we were made aware that the room wouldn't be refreshed for our stay, however tea/coffee/hot chocolate etc was readily available and left at the reception area to help yourselves to and fresh towels were in our room. There was an added bonus of a fridge in the room too. Location wise it was perfect, plenty of free parking available and literally across the road from the beach. The fair, shops and eateries just a couple of minutes walk away. All in all a very enjoyable stay, and would definitely recommend.

We loved our stay here, the hotel is perfectly placed along the promenade.

Our room was sea view, second floor room 3, there is a sofa positioned in the large bay Window of the room, absolutely blissful.
Room is spacious and ideal for 3 people.

The hosts are friendly, they leave you alone to enjoy your break yet they are there if you should need them.

The location was perfect for us, just a short leisurely stroll to the little town.

We would definitely stay at this guest house again.

Stayed here for two nights as part of a tour of Wales and found it to be a lovely guest house. The rooms were very clean and the owners were very welcoming. Plenty of tea and coffee, etc, were available .

The guest house was only a few minutes walk from the beach and main shops so the location is great. Parking was available on the road that ran alongside the GH.

Great location and very friendly owners. Room spacious and beds comfy.

Room and general areas could do with a bit of tlc as marks on walls in rooms and communal areas.
Room quite cold even with heating on.
Could be made more presentable on the outside aswell.

Located just across the road from the beach with amazing warm, friendly and helpful hosts in the form of Caroline and Trevor. The rooms are clean and well equipped and there are all the ingredients for a decent brew readily available. There is plenty to do right on the doorstep and you can even borrow the guest house body boards...which I did!

The room rates are highly competitive and you definitely get excellent value for money which is very important these days is it not?!

This was my third stay and definitely not my last and I cannot wait to return.

I would highly recommend this fab place to stay!
