It is at the far end of Marine Parade, far enough away from the town centre for it to be peaceful but still close enough to walk. It is the the closest guest house to the beach in Barmouth. The front rooms give picture postcard views of the beach and promenade.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wonderful roomy comfy accommodation. View of the coast from bay window of room is glorious. Lovely bed. A fridge to keep drinks, milk and my medication in. Great shower. Lovely clean room with tea, coffee, hot chocolate brewing facilities. A very decent tv. Extremely good price for 4 nights. The guest house is over the road from the beach & a 5 minute walk to town centre. Thoroughly recommend these hosts & their guest house.

As soon as I opened the door to room 6 I felt 'at home' .. a standard double with a sea view, and what a view! You're just across from the sand dunes here, the beach beyond. In the room.. oodles of storage, a most comfortable double bed, 2 armchairs.. perfect to sit by the window, with a morning cup of tea! There's a private bathroom with shower, a mini refrigerator, hairdryer, alarm clock, and kettle. Perfectly fluffy white towels left upon the bed on arrival. A very informative guest book with local information, and about the room. At the front a wonderful little write up about the history of Môr Wyn! Room 6 is very light and airy, kept wonderfully clean! As you come and go.. help yourself to tea, milk, biscuit's etc.. from the hallway table. Great location for the beach, high street, train station. I loved it so much I'm going back in a couple of weeks. It really was a perfect stay!

Stayed here for two nights as part of a tour of Wales and found it to be a lovely guest house. The rooms were very clean and the owners were very welcoming. Plenty of tea and coffee, etc, were available . The guest house was only a few minutes walk from the beach and main shops so the location is great. Parking was available on the road that ran alongside the GH.

Room very clean and great sea view. Reasonable prices and the owners are more than helpful, booked a further two stays with them next year. I was on the top floor in Room 6 (Mor) and had a comfy double bed and a single bed with en-suite bathroom which was exceptionally clean. Great stay see you again soon.

We stayed at Mor Wyn from Saturday afternoon until this morning. Perfectly lovely guest house. quirky - in a good way - fresh-looking, two-tone green color. It was clean, and tidy, and the owner welcomed us and offered any assistance needed. The room was large, clean, well-fitted out; and - heavenly - complete with a refrigerator. Just what we needed to keep milk, drinks and sandwiches (HM Queen funeral - shops /cafes closed today) nice and cool and fresh for today. This should be a must-have accessory! We had a sea view room. And what a view! From the first floor we could see for miles in each direction. We were literally just across the road from the sand-dunes on the beach. Parking nearby was easy enough once the tourists had left! The guest-guide had all the info we needed on all we needed. We took the owners' recommendation for breakfast and dinner. We were not disappointed! We come to Wales each year; Mor Wyn, Barmouth, has been an exceptional place to stay in. We hope to return to stay longer. Carlos (Newman) Rm 8

Located just across the road from the beach with amazing warm, friendly and helpful hosts in the form of Caroline and Trevor. The rooms are clean and well equipped and there are all the ingredients for a decent brew readily available. There is plenty to do right on the doorstep and you can even borrow the guest house body boards...which I did! The room rates are highly competitive and you definitely get excellent value for money which is very important these days is it not?! This was my third stay and definitely not my last and I cannot wait to return. I would highly recommend this fab place to stay!

We were not too sure what we would find at Mor Wyn as they don't do breakfast but the price is very right ! Our room, Number 3 was very clean, very large and a VERY good sea view. Breakfast was taken daily at the Min y Mor which is a 3 minute walk up the road. Even with the £10.50 per breakfast on top of the room charge this was still a real bargain. If you like Wales Barmouth is lovely.
