It is at the far end of Marine Parade, far enough away from the town centre for it to be peaceful but still close enough to walk. It is the the closest guest house to the beach in Barmouth. The front rooms give picture postcard views of the beach and promenade.

As a solo traveller I tend to use low price budget rooms, all I need is a bed for a night or two as I travel around the country, I'm often let down with noise, lack of cleanliness and poor hygiene. Môr Wyn Guest House surprised me on so many levels. Despite the current difficulties Trevor & Caroline have everything perfectly set up for the guests safety and theirs. I can add nothing more to what others have said on Tripadvisor, the comfort is 100%, cleanliness 100%, the welcome 100% the views from the front rooms 100%. The weather wasn't great this weekend, but sat up in the bay window with a glass of Malbec watching the clouds over the mountains and the incoming storm... it was perfect ! So much so, I've made a further two bookings this month !

Excellent stay at this lovely guest house. Great location very near to beach and only a short walk away from all local shops and restaurants. Stayed in Room 3 which was excellent with a lovely sea view and comfortable furnishings. Lovely comfortable 4 poster bed which had everything in room for a brilliant stay. Caroline and Trevor excellent hosts too. Would definitely recommend this guest house.

Myself and my husband arrived here on Friday evening, we found the room to be very clean and good value for money. We didn’t have a sea view room but as the seafront is just over the road it didn’t matter. Owners were friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay even though it rained for most of the time we were there we just found things indoors to do and had walks along the beach when the rain eased off. It was a badly needed break after all that has happened this year. Came home feeling good and relaxed.

Ideal location to explore Barmouth and area. Big issue with Pets smell as you walk into the reception and it is an overpowering smell. Rooms big and clean and thankfully due to door between downstairs and upstairs, as long as door is shut the smell does not filter up to the landing and rooms. Did not do breakfast here due ti the smell so cant give any comments on this.

Booked last minute and arrived with 15minutes to spare, absolute life saver, hosts very welcoming and reception was quick and i was in a comfy guess house room ready to sleep. This guest house is right on the sea front in Barmouth. Well worth its price.
