Stayed for a long weekend March 2020. It's the second time we've visited. It's perfect. Delightful lodge, really well furnished and decorated. Lovely garden. Ample milk, lovely bread, cereals tea and coffee. Comfortable and relaxing. It's located in the town so access to everything is really easy, shops, pubs, transport on the door step. The owner is really helpful and friendly. I really can't fault this place. Will be back for sure.
I had an extended stay at this cozy hostel . Conveniently located in the town close 3 mins to the bus stop in the town square . Although there was construction in the square still very handy to all the town essentials. Hamilton Lodge is decorated with interesting memorabilia that makes it seem like a home not a hostel .I stayed in January so could not enjoy the back garden as much as I would in the summer , however it is a wonderful feature and very charming to look at even in The winter. Hot shower good coffee and fresh bread . Quentin is a 5 star host and very flexible and great advice on sights buses and things so see and do. Highly recommended.
Lovely clean and warm place to stay. The owner Q is such a warming friendly bloke. He gave us plenty of recommendations of things to do and places to go in the area. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Fishguard to definitely come here to stay. The room was clean and tidy. Bed was comfy. Facilities were also great.
Spent a weekend there with friends and absolutely loved it. The facilities are great, the bedrooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The property has a quaint private garden and for damp days, there is a TV and a wide selection of books and DVD's. The location is ideal for walks to the harbour or a shuffle around the shops. I couldn't believe how many small cosy pubs were within walking distance. All provided a warm welcome and gorgeous food. The owner was really helpful. I cannot recommend this place enough - I will definitely return for another stay, A++++++ 😊
We originally meant to walk this part of the Pembrokeshire coastal path but due to the weather turning a little inclement we caught the bus directly to Fishguard and decided to walk the stages from there. On arriving my partner found the details for here and I gave Q a call who fortunately was in a position to help us! The accommodation was perfect and it was like a home from home. You essentially have full use of the house and therefore have the responsibility of keeping things in order. It's far more than a hostel! The most bizarre thing about it was we have invited one of the other guests to stay with us on his travels around the UK! We would definitely stay again when we finish the final leg of our travels.
