Bryncelyn Guesthouse, in beautiful Llanwrtyd Wells, is a 4 star family run guest house providing ideal accommodation while attending one of the local festivals either here in Llanwrtyd Wells or in the nearby towns of Builth Wells and Llandovery. All rooms are either ensuite or have private bathrooms. Guest rooms have TV, DVD player and tea & coffee making facilities. We are in the heart of the smallest town in Britain (with a population of 600) with restaurants, pubs and shops on the doorstep. We have offroad parking for our guests. Price includes full breakfast, either Welsh or the option of a Continental. The town is surrounded by beautiful countryside with rolling hills and it's famous for wacky events such as World Championship Bog Snorkeling and Man versus Horse Marathon.

My partner and I stayed at Bryncelyn Guesthouse for 5 nights in Sept 2023 and were blown away by everything from the moment we arrived! Each morning breakfast was simply excellent! There was a good selection of cereals, fresh fruit and yogurt, and the full cooked breakfast was amazing! Our en-suite room was on the second floor and was spacious, very clean, and serviced daily. There was even bottled water provided on the refreshments tray in the room. The owners, Lorna and Ian, were very friendly, professional, and went over and above to make our stay great. Nothing was too much trouble for them when we asked for assistance and/or advice. Thoroughly recommended and we will definitely be going back!

The room was lovely. The hosts were amazing and the breakfast in the morning was brilliant. I would definitely stay there again. A great place for family all couples. We went for a wedding anniversary to the area and enjoyed it immensely

We had a really enjoyable 4 day stay at Bryncelyn. The accommodation was first class and Lorna was a wonderful host, very helpful and her cooking is excellent. If you can, try some of the evening meals, very good value and beautifully presented. The breakfasts were just the thing to start a day's walking; how does she get those poached eggs perfectly done? We had Room 7, which was very spacious and light. Highly recommended.

This was a return visit - every bit as friendly and helpful as last time. Comfortable room on the top floor is worth the climb up the stairs for the view! Excellent breakfast too. It's worth visiting Llanwrtyd Wells for the whacky events such as the Real Ale Wobble - but you'll have to book accommodation well in advance.

A neat and tidy B&B with lots of charm. Easy to book with quick responses to queries. Lorna is an energetic and engaging host and also an excellent cook! Quite a few stairs so not great on the accessibility front, but typical for a building of that period. Definitely recommended.

What a friendly and welcoming place! Lorna has been helpful, informative and accommodating throughout. The room was comfortable and the breakfast very comprehensive and well-cooked. (Also well-served by Lorna's charming assistant, Lily) We were well set up for each day! The guest house is centrally located in the town, just across the road from a highly recommended restaurant and just around the corner from a very interesting Arts and Heritage Centre, both of which are really worth a visit!

A very warm welcome from Ian & Lorna. We were offered a change to an ensuite room & were allocated a fabulous king room on the 2nd floor. The bed was so comfortable if I could have taken it home in the car I would. Fab powerful shower with fluffy towels & toiletries. Breakfast was delicious. Excellent cooked breakfast along with cereals, fresh fruit salad, pastries. Would love to return if that way again. A true gem in Wales.
