#2 of 15 B&Bs / Inns in Llanwrtyd Wells
Bryncelyn Guesthouse, in beautiful Llanwrtyd Wells, is a 4 star family run guest house providing ideal accommodation while attending one of the local festivals either here in Llanwrtyd Wells or in the nearby towns of Builth Wells and Llandovery. All rooms are either ensuite or have private bathrooms. Guest rooms have TV, DVD player and tea & coffee making facilities. We are in the heart of the smallest town in Britain (with a population of 600) with restaurants, pubs and shops on the doorstep. We have offroad parking for our guests. Price includes full breakfast, either Welsh or the option of a Continental. The town is surrounded by beautiful countryside with rolling hills and it's famous for wacky events such as World Championship Bog Snorkeling and Man versus Horse Marathon.

I absolutely love staying at this wonderful guesthouse. The warm welcome, friendly staff, lovely rooms, awesome breakfast, and homely ambience. It’s also in a delightful location, surrounded by beautiful scenery. Llanwrtyd Wells is a lovely town, the home of the World Alternative Games, Bog Snorkelling and lots more. If you’re visiting, I can’t recommend staying at the Bryncelyn highly enough.

Stayed for 2 nights on Man v Horse weekend. Perfect find! Only 30 seconds walk from where our event started. Lil, the owner, is lovely. We received a very warm welcome. Our room (number 5) was a good size, clean and comfortable. Ensuite bathroom had an excellent shower and was also a good size. Breakfast was outstanding. Choice of cereal, fruit, yoghurt, full cooked breakfast. Vegetarians catered for. Honesty bar in the lounge area. We wished we were staying longer and are disappointed that Bryncelyn is already booked out for Man v Horse next year.

I was on a long walk through Wales. This guesthouse was just what I needed: unpretentious, hospitable, very reasonably priced. I slept well, ate well, had good conversation with the landlady. What more could you want? Such places are harder and harder to find. DAvid

This guesthouse is charming and comfortable, and we received a warm and friendly welcome from Lil. The breakfast was first class using good quality ingredients. Although there are no evening meals on offer, there are 4 places to eat in the town which are less than 1 minute walk away. There is also an honesty bar at the property if you fancy a drink on site. I would definitely consider staying here again.
