We have just spent 3 wonderful nights at the Drovers Rest. Peter was the consummate host. He made us feel extremely welcomed. He helped us plan our cycling routes and welcomed us back from our rides by producing tea and cake. The breakfast and evening meal was delicious, local and home made. We will return.

What a lovely place, the staff are so friendly and the food is super delicious. I sat in the lounge and had my lunch on my lap. Brilliant. I’d recommend the buck rarebit. You can also sit out side with a view of the river weather permitting

We were visiting the Bog Snorkeling event and manged to reserve a table at the Restaurant for Sunday lunch and were not disappointed. The staff were amasingly helpful and the food was exactly the way I liked it. The Restaurant is light and airy and well situated - We had the Sunday lunch which was ample and the deserts looked amasing although we were too full to partake. Will definitely return and can recommend this place for that special occasion as well. Really nice and a treat to have a "nice" Restaurant to eat in.

Room Tip: We didn't stay at this Hotel but if the Restaurant part is anything to go buy it would be fine.

Stopped at this dog friendly delightful B&B restaurant for coffee again, and were served the biggest toasted tea cake in Christendom. The staff couldn't be bettered, most engaging . Back tomorrow for lunch.
