Aguas Arriba lodge, the owners, the guides, the chef, and the rest of the small staff were incredible. Our three night stay there was magical and we can't wait to return someday. The owners, Pato and Ivor, were so warm and accommodating. They truly made us feel like family. We took 5 hikes over out three days there and toured...

From the boat trip across Lake Desierto to our departure 3 days later this was a once in a lifetime experience. Hosts and owners Patricia "Pato" and Ivor made us very welcome throughout our stay. All meals were excellent. Pato's guided tours of nearby glaciers, mountains and lakes (Including lake crossings in their power boat) were well organized and relatively...

We spent to nights with our two teens very end of October. In a nutshell, we did love our stay in Aguas Arribas. - The location is fantastic; tough arriving to the lodge is not an easy task (the last 30+km are on a dirt road), the location is really, really fantastic. On the edge of a lake, facing a glacier...

We have been to the lodge in October - early spring. We have seen nature nicely starting the year. We have found there great People, fantastic accommodations. The chef and the staff were very good and we had to hike a lot to lose the calories. Highly recommended place to stay for nature loving people.

This place is absolutely amazing and very heartwarming. A definite must see when you're visiting Patagonia. Agues Arribas attracts people who are alike and you become friends immediately. Don't worry about the food, it is surprisingly incredible ...and this coming from a foody. the place is secluded and magical at the same time. You can do trips into the wild,...

When you need to get away from it ALL, this is the place. You're literally surrounded by the end of the earth. Nature at it's best, and this lodge does a great job of providing creature comforts while getting you away from it all. There's more to do than you think. Spend some time here and you wont regret it.

What a piece of paradise this was! We stayed for two nights and that wasn't nearly long enough to enjoy all the lodge has to offer. It takes a while to get here but it's definitely worth the effort. The food was excellent, the staff so warm and friendly that we felt at home immediately. The hiking trails around the...

Hike in. The reward for the hour walk is beautiful: the extremely tasteful lodge, it's spectacular calming views, the tasty treats, the extraordinary welcome from Ivor and Pato and their special ability to make one believe one simply stopped in at a friend's house to stay a few days. It's a wonderful hidden gem; a spot on the planet not...

Aguas Arriba lodge is a unique experience with the property offering an "off the grid" travel destination. What a visually stunning lodge located in a prestine natural environment. The owners heart and soul have been put into their property with the challenges of operating this kind of operation evident but done well. I highly recommend at least 3 nights to...
