the best thing of this hotel is the view and their facilities which i cant complaint. the rooms where clean and comfortable. but besides infrastructure and an strategic location the management and the poor service quality makes this property a victim of the political situation the country is going through. they didn't have any of the things we asked them...

This camp is an excellent base-camp for visiting Canaima National Park in Bolivar state, only a few miles from Kerepakupay Vená (Angel Falls). The site is near the lake on a beautiful spot with amazing views.

Venetur it's not known as a trustworthy company in Venezuela so we started our trip kind of scared about what we were going to find once we were in Canaima. Surprisingly the camp is in pretty good condition. The staff is good and the views are just breathtaking by far the best in all Canaima. The food is below average...

Unbelievable view, great service, friendly staff, excellent food. Overall the best experience around Venezuela. The only problem was communicating with some member of staff, hardly was possible to speak English.

I could spend a week just looking at the view alone. We stayed here for our trip into Angel Falls as I wanted some place with a bed due to a back injury (did not want to sleep in a hammock). We had trouble booking as the number in our party had changed so the original tour didn't want to...

Just walk through there is amazing. Very nice location, very impresive views from everywhere, from the restaurant you get an stunning view. Rooms are comfy and clean. Food is also adequate always we had two options for lunch, dinner or breakfast. Service is good, staff are very friendly. The bar just at the front of the lagoon, nice music, drinks,...

There is a reason why they built the first Canaima hotel in this location 30+ years ago. Imagine looking directly at waterfalls with table-top mountains behind them as you sip your morning coffee. The location is absolutely stunning. And it is literally across the street from the airstrip. Note that the name is "campamento" which means, literally, campsite. It is...

We did Angel Falls through another company and paid a fortune - when I told the owner of this place what we paid he nearly fell over! You may need to look them up as Venetaur which is the name of the company. We arrived in Canaima and were originally to stay with Kavac. We drove past this beautiful place...

We stayed there during the summer of 2012. As one of us is Venezuelan we could afford going to Canaima with Venetur, otherwise it would have been to expensive. The location of the campamento is breath-taking so that makes you happy when you get there. The service is crappy, though. Super slow receptionists and careless waiters. The last day we...

The hotel room was clean, unfortunately I don't know why they don't use mosquito nets ( which could make things easier) so you have to fight with mosquitoes or worse to spray the room. The bathroom was ok, you could find toiletteries but no hairdrier. The window could not be fully closed so you could always find bugs inside. The...
