The place is amazingly beautiful. Huge bay front with pier included surrounded by mountains. You are deep in a National Park so you will have to drive a while to get to the place but once you do it's breathtaking. Service is done by locals who are told and trained to their very best to make you feel as comfortable...

Top notch service, very clean posada. I was amazed how a place like this can offer quality products in all areas, like towels, soap, bed sheets, etc and especially food in today's Venezuela. Highly recomended place to stay in Morrocoy. The trips to los Cayos were amazing, truly beautiful beaches.

The place is actually growing - they've added more rooms and it seems they've gotten better since the first time we stayed in 2013. They used to give a complimentary glass of wine with every dinner meal, now they've changed their policy and they give you an entire bottle your first night - not a bad change, just sort of...

We stayed 3 days/2nights at La Ardileña. We were absolutely surprised about the Posada, the service and the whole stay. They organized trips to different islands with providing a coolbox with drinks & food. The rooms were very nice and very clean. The staff was very serviceorientated, always with a smile on their face😊. La Ardileña is a small paradise,...

Small, quaint, clean and very comfortable. The rooms were air conditioned and had hot water. Really quiet and peaceful all the time. The food was excellent and the service was too. After breakfast you get on a boat a ride about 15-25 minutes to one of the many small islands in the area and a member of the staff accompanies...

I felt pampered from the beginning. I am Venezuelan and came to La Ardileña looking for a place to bring friends from Austria. They were extremely pleased with the staff, the food and the services in the Posada and to the Islands. Massages were very good and for the price an unbeatable value. We will back soon!!!

Venezuela is now struggling through severe economic crisis and it is definitely not a very secure place to go, nevertheless if one gets here by any chance then Morrocoy national park should not be missed and specifically posada La Ardileña. They try and in many ways succeed to provide a very good level of service (unmatched by any other place...
