The island and the archipelago are fantastic places to visit, especially if you are interested on scuba diving or interacting with the flamingos and the parrots. The hotel is merely functional with tolerable food, it would greatly improve with some remodeling and maintenance.

We spent four days in the island, the place used to be a more scenic place but since then the island has been cut in half.. ( not sure how that happened..) the half that is not accessible anymore used to make the experience a more engaging and beautiful setting and that has created a problem for the hotel, namely...

This place is just amazing!!! I went with my family (mother, father and sister) a few years ago but is the perfect place to go as a couple. There is less than 15 bedrooms. This place is very quiet and the beach is spectacular. And the food!!! Omg!!! So delicious

We stayed there 12 years ago and it was outstanding. We had a room that opened to the beach. To get there was by boat and was a lot of fun. The rooms now are without any kind of view. This time it was a two hour miserable bus ride. As other reviewers have said, the information about meals and...

Maybe if this is your first resort, its not too bad. I basically went on an all inclusive day trip, but stayed in a friends cabin for the night. Honestly I think it was a shady deal between the guy who owns the other part of the island and a worker at the resort. The food is great, drinks dont...

You will pay more than you think and have for less than you think. All activities close at 18h, even the access to the beach! Rooms smell musty. Flush worked badly. They offer no laundry service. There is no hammock. What they call ecological tour is zoological: it's not the same logic and i personnaly do not approve to see...

Writing a review for Isla Palma is quite a challenge. The small island itself is beautiful, with white beaches and the ocean comes with various shades of blue/turquoise. The staff is extremely friendly, listens and tries to help the best way they can. However, I cannot agree with some of the other tripadvisor reviews that only have positive things to...

Pros: The beach is really nice, the staff is really nice, the food is okay - nothing special but not bad Cons: It takes a while to get there by bus and boat, there is no information when you arrive regarding restaurant hours, what the hotel offers, where the beach is (we found out on the last day that there...

We spent 3 days there, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the beaches are beatiful, one of the most precious beaches i've ever seen. I didn´t like that they don´t give you much information when you check in, i also didn´t knew that we had to take a 3 hours bus from Cartagena and a 25 minutes ship after that,...

Cons(most of my review): The bus that takes you to the boat is a 3 hour ride and makes a stop in a poor coastal town called berrugas (verrugas?). Staff warned us to keep our belongings safe and not to let anyone help us with our bags. When we got off, children swarmed my husband and I begging for money...
