We stayed 3 nights on this beautiful, small island resort, which was the perfect location for our whale- watching, Tongan adventure. The resort is intimate, relaxed, exclusive, and low- key with personable, knowledgable and welcoming hosts, Mark and Veronica. Veronica was very communicative and helpful prior to our arrival, so that we knew exactly what to expect and had everything... More

We recently chartered a yacht in Vava'u for ten days and used the mooring at this resort twice overnight. We went ashore for dinner on both occasions. The food was awesome and Mark and Veronica could not have been more welcoming. We also went out with Mark on his waka to swim with whales. This was an experience of a... More

The whale swimming is definitely the highlight, but there are so many other great things about this place not to be overlooked. We were on the island for 6 days which we filled with relaxing on the beach, snorkelling on the reef in the crystal clear water & exploring the island. You can truly switch off from the world and... What a fantastic time we had for seven days in late July. Right at the beginning of the humpback whale season. We couldn't have had better hosts than Veronica and Mark. With Veronica and staff looking after all our on island needs and Mark and his whale watching guides looking after our on/in water activities. Mark has had an amazing... More

We have been waiting to swim with whales for over a decade. I am so glad we chose to entrust our experience in the hands of Mark and Veronica who hosted us. Veronica went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable, and the food was to our liking. Nothing was too hard for her. Mark is a true... More

What to say. We chose this place because we wanted to experience what it would be like to stay on a Tropical Island, and boy did we get that. We got picked up at the Airport and brought to a beach where Mark was waiting to transfer us to the Island. As you approach this idyllic island, you see why... More
