We have just returned from a fantastic safari in Botswana arranged by Audi Camp in Maun. I will start by saying if you favour bling and 5* then Audi camp may not be for you. But if you appreciate a real safari experience with fantastic guide and delicious food cooked for you by your own chef in the bush then look no further. I did loads of research when we decided we were going to go on safari and I was thrilled that I chose Audi camp. My husband and I did not want a generic holiday that so many companies offer, we wanted something more real. Camping in the bush under canvas listening to the animals at night. We were very well looked after by our guide Let’s and chef Tshamo. They were so attentive and took our safety very seriously. Every game drive we went on was a thrill, from seeing wild dogs kill an impala right in front of us, to leopard and cheetah eating their kill. We saw everything you could hope for on safari and then some. Back at Audi camp Richie and his mother were very hands on and attentive. A really fabulous experience from start to finish. I can not recommend them enough. …

We were camping for two nights & I must say seniors must advise staff. Firstly please change your plugs. None could charge mobiles/cameras. Then WiFi was down. & All staff said I DON'T KNOW So I asked if the hotel does not know who will know. It was sad & disappointing. No assistance for simple things

the camp is very nice and worth the price, great food too.... but we felt cheated when booking a tour through the delta... for 1 day for 2 persons we paid 16.000 Pula which is 1136 € and extremely overpriced ... very disappointing... we trusted the stuff... please book safari somewhere else

Response from Anne Uren, Owner at Audi Camp

Hello Anna. Thank you for your positive response with regards to staying at our camp and we are so happy to hear that you enjoyed the food. Your negative feedback with regards to your trip into the Delta is unfortunate and I would like to explain a few things to you. The trip that you booked was an exclusive trip with just you and your travel companion therefore this does make the price per person higher. For example, if there were 6 people in the vehicle the price per person would have been less than half of what you paid. Secondly, you were told what the price would be before you went on the trip, you agreed to it and top of that you told our staff that you had a great time. So we are a little surprised to receive such a negative and damaging review. Travel safely and take care.

We stayed with Audi camp in August 2022 for more than 2 weeks. We did a 4 day mekoro safari in the Okavango delta : very good guide (Tiemen) , chef ( Paul ) and crew. The walking safaris were excellent, a lot of good viewings from very close. After Okavango 3 nights CKGR. Game drives in the morning and evening. Lets was not only a good driver but also good guide and biology teacher. Quality and service of the evening meals were beyond expectations thanks to master chef Paul. After CKGR 2 nights NXAI pan. Also stunning. Views : big 5 except Rhino. Many other species from very close. Thank you TT for making this possible. Was my second time at Audi camp and will be repeated. Alain - Belgium

Aside from the bad entrance road Audi Camps was everything that one would look forward to on a Botswana safari trip. The accommodation in tented cottages was comfortable, the meals and ambiance at the bar / dining area great, and the staff friendly and helpful. We stayed here again after spending some days at Third Bridge in the Moremi Game Reserve.

Very covid safe, friendly staff and lovely setting. Would definitely go back! The bar and pool area is a great place to relax and have a beer after a long drive. Everything was very clean and covid secure.

PROS: Beautiful facilities, located away from the “town” of Maun. Felt safe. Nice river views and swimming pool (though cold in the winter). Great breakfast. Friendly staff. The raised tented camp was beautiful, very comfortable; it was a bit cold with the winter June wind coming from under the planks. It seems like they really take pride in their facilities. CONS: Shared camp bathroom needed attention.

We camped for 3 nights on a great spot, near neat, clean ablutions and washing up facilities. Good shade, with great braai pit. We appreciated all the friendly staff, specially, Ellen, for helping where they could. Lovely refreshing swimming pool, good wi fi!! We had a great day out to do a mokoro trip, very very enjoyable and something not to be missed. Audi camp being little out of Maun, but nearby enough to do Covid tests suited us very well.

We stayed here for a overnight stay. It was lovely to have a long shower, a lovely beer at the pub, a great breakfast and lunch (both of us are vegetarians), a swim in the cold pool and a sound sleep in the comfy beds. Great Wifi too.
