Hotel's Favourite
We were pleasantly surprised with these accommodations. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay. The rooms are simple but very clean. The bathroom is plain, but functional. They offer bikes (complementary). There is a restaurant on premise with breakfast, lunch and dinner and a small bar. Breakfast is good and cooked-to-order. I emailed ahead and made arrangements for an airport pick up. The cost for that was $8 USD per person and the driver was waiting at the airport with a sign for us. There is no coffee service in the room and I'm an early riser. I called the desk asking about coffee and was told the restaurant opened at 7:30. But about 10 minutes later, there was a knock at my door. The front desk clerk had a cup, 2 packets of coffee and a thermos of hot water for me! What a pleasant surprise! Excellent customer service. Highly recommend.

We were only here for one night, so the overall stay was pleasant. We did encounter some direction issues via google map when getting there, so make sure you confirm the direction with the hotel ahead of time. The room was very spacious with mini-fridge, AC, TV, hot water, and strong water pressure. We stayed in a King size room with a massive bed. However, the sheet and blanket weren’t big enough to match the size of the bed. The hotel provided one universal plug in the room. The property was beautiful and provided many seating areas (lobby, balcony, TV room). Breakfast was decent with veggies! The hotel also offered free bicycles for guests (we didn’t use them). WiFi was strong. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is located about 30-45 mins drive from the market area of Kumasi. Be warn that the traffic was terrible near the market area (avoid it if possible). The only problem we had during our stay was during checkout. The credit card machine didn’t work, so we ended up paying in cash. The hotel should’ve informed us that we would need to pay upon checking out as we assumed it was prepaid and didn’t budget the extra time needed for the checkout.

We stayed here for two nights and it was a peaceful stay without major issue. Staff were super lovely at reception and the restaurant, though we received some mixed messages regarding the time for, and type of, breakfast. For example, we were told at dinner that breakfast would be a buffet and to get there early to ensure we got food: we arrived at 8.10am and were told by (different) staff that it wasn’t a buffet at all. In fact, breakfast was quite a limited a la carte menu (eggs, bread or pancakes, with coffee). The pancakes were, however, delicious! Rooms were huge: spacious and bright. The bed was absolutely massive, though as a result the top cover/sheet and blanket didn’t stretch across the entire mattress. The small fridge in the room was a huge bonus, as the meals served at the on-site restaurant were HUGE and we were generously given takeout containers for the leftovers from our dinner. Our room filtered in a lot of noise (for example, staff were right outside our window early in the morning) and the air-con, although it worked well, made a loud noise every now and again throughout the night. Though the pressure was excellent, we couldn’t seem to get any hot water in the shower. Our biggest peeve, however, was that the room wasn’t overly clean: the toilet and bed were a tad dirty, the shower had a blocked drain with other people’s hair, and we found empty water bottles under our bed from previous guests. Wifi worked, though we were kicked off it every 5 minutes or so and it wouldn’t always let us log back in straight away: it was unfortunately a bad connection for video calls back home. All this said, like many places in Ghana, it was the lovely staff who really made the difference and we overall enjoyed our stay here.

My children and I stayed for a few nights here. The staff was truly the best thing about the experience. They were kind and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. We had a few issues with the A/C but it was quickly resolved each time. I'm not sure if we just came too close to the end of breakfast or what but the offering wasn't very good. But again the server was very nice so it wasn't a big deal. If you're looking for clean, comfortable and great location, this is a great choice!
