Ok so the place dates from the 70s but it still has a great deal of simple charm. The few staff are wonderfully hospitable and the food is fine and generous. The simple rooms are spacious and comfortable and all have a view of the lake. I have been to dozens of Kenyan lodges over 30 years and I really...

We traveled during Easter holidays 2016. I can't consider this place as a lodge. Dirty rooms with spiders. Under staff and very very basic. Won't recommend to stay there until the management will renovate it properly!

It is 3km from Marsabit in a great forest area..after travelling through flat desert to get there (and the following day to Lake Turkana) Go with an open mind and...
