This was a welcome oasis after a long day in our tour bus. The property is beautiful with a large pool and spacious rooms. It was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Our dinner and breakfast buffets offered plenty of choices and we were very satisfied with the food. The staff also was friendly and accommodating. Overall, I would recommend... More

We stayed here on a group tour. The hotel is beautiful. The Kasbah is truly a fortress. The room are very nice & large. They have a small frig & a very small TV, not that we used it. The bathroom is nice & roomy. The shower is large. There is a small safe in the room. The grounds are... More

Located in Erfoud on the edge of the Sahara desert and the Merzouga Sands the Kasbah Chergui Hotel is something out of Arabian Nights. The sprawling premises is set out like a desert oasis surrounding a centrally placed swimming pool. The rooms are clean and spacious and nicely decorated and very quiet - For once we could sleep without the... More

Originally I was to only stay one night here but unfortunately I woke up with a "bug" and needed a doctor - the staff plus my tour leader arranged for a doctor to come to the hotel etc. The Angels of the housekeeping staff took GREAT care of me for 2 days - I was lucky and now have some... More

This is about as 5-star as you can get at the western edge of the Sahara. The public spaces (lobby, pool, and dining room) are filled with large props from the many movies that have been shot nearby. Excellent buffet at dinner and at breakfast (though the staff is a bit uptight about keeping all the tour groups seated together... More

This is a hotel intended for tourists and lots of them. The room was clean, dimly lit and spacious but not comfortable due to the rock hard furniture. The restaurant is a buffet style setup meant to accommodate busloads of tourists. The food is acceptable and decent but not great. The staff were welcoming and pleasant. I wondered what was... More

We stayed here one night on our way to the sahara. Touristy, but really nice welcome with music, tea and delicious cookies! The pool is huge, and clean. Our rooms were clean and modern with moroccan decor, the beds were fine for me but my friends thought they were too firm. Dinner and breakfast buffets were good ( i hate... More

This is a very nice hotel, but the rooms are very dark and the beds are on concrete platforms. Also there are concrete columns, as in the picture, to be avoided if you get up at night! The breakfast was very limited, with not hot food at all when we arrived. A little later, they did bring out some eggs.... More

We spent one night at the Bivouac Chergui. The desert camp is nicely located and the haimas are very comfortable with toilet and shower. The decoration of the haimas is rather dark. The staff is extremely friendly, making it a very special stay including camel rides and walking on the dunes to see the sunrise. Food was average.

I love to come back in this beautiful kasbah Chergui, I feel like at home. Always nice welcoming tee from the berber man, some biscuits and nuts. Friendly stuff, delicious food, a great choice of tajines, between them specially lamb tajine, just fabulous!!!! After a long, hot day, it was so nice to swim in a big outdoor swimming pool,...
