This is the best place to take your packed lunch while starting your gorilla trekking. I think it is the best in Ruhengeri to offer such service for standard and bugdet traveller. You will not be dissapointed

I always stop here when I pass through Town. And I always order meat samosa - simply the best I have found anywhere in Rwanda. Served freshly made, piping hot at any time of the day, very tasty, not greasy, with a lemon wedge and chilly oil. Perfect and not to be missed if in town. The place has a...

The Hotel Muhabura is historic and as such has a special place in the town. Service at the hotel is good, the restaurant is a little slower. Breakfast is included but is very basic - boiled eggs, toast, fruits, juice, coffee. It's sufficient and for the price it's a good value but it is not a luxury hotel so just...

The Hotel and restaurant Muhabura in Musanze can almost make you feel like being back in a town a few decades ago. The restaurat has a great atmosphere, and I would definitely recommend it for a drink. Coming here for lunch or dinner can turn into an unpleasant experience as the waiting time can be very very long. I would...

As so many times before in the past years we stopped at Hotel Muhabura for lunch. The friendly atmosphere and the history of the hotel & restaurant had made us to become the “usual happy returning customers”. At the moment we stepped out of the car the we were met by an employee requesting us for 20 000 RWF/per (approx...

Hotel Muhabura has a broad menu but the food is average. The best bet is to stick to the brochettes (fish, beef and goat) and the samosas are surprisingly good. The waiters are friendly and courteous but the kitchen is quite slow - expect to wait around an hour for main courses. Despite this, Muhabura is one of the better...

Our tour company booked us into this hotel and it was disappointing to be honest. This hotel relies on its history of being the accommodation used by Dian Fossey. This alone is not enough, the hotel is lacking in several areas. Firstly, the rooms are far from luxurious. The bed was creaky and felt old, the showers were warm at...

Not a luxurious lodge. Very small rooms but good enough for a technical night when visiting the Volcanoes National Park and it gorillas. Hot water in the shower. The food in the restaurant is really good but be prepared for a long wait. Even after 30 minutes after ordering, they can come and tell you that your dish is not...

My husband and I Stayed here for two nights while Gorilla Trekking. Our room was a bit tired and worn, but still quite comfortable and liveable. The place has a nice little restaurant and bar and friendly staff. It's the place where Dianne Fossey stayed when she came down from studying the gorillas in the mountains.

This was a good place for a sleep. Hot water, wife and good rooms. They also had a nice restaurant with patio to chill. They have lunch deals for 3 course meal (6000) and menu for dinner time. Food was good and it was nice to chill outside with a cold pint.
