We have been going to this beautiful town on a regular basis and always stay at this guesthouse...why? To us service has even become better - what they do not have they will do their best to provide. Such a great atmosphere and stay - rooms are always clean and cosy. The staff are very friendly. To us it is... More

Location excellent with all museums and restaurants in close walking distance. Comfortable rooms, lovely historic feel to the house, excellent breakfasts, complimentary car wash to wash away the dust of adventuring around the area. Friendly and helpful staff. The communal indoors and out are great too. Safe, off road parking and added bonus.

What an amazing place Pierre and his wife have created here. Every room is themed and furnished with lots of love and attention to detail. Little twigs of lavender are attached to all sort of things, giving it a feel of luxury. A relaxing place brought to life by Pierre's passion. Very recommended.

We could choose our own room! Hosts were very friendly and dinner at Polka was outstanding. Atmosphere in guesthouse was great!!! It was Autumn when we visited but I am sure garden and pool will be very refreshing on a hot summer day.

We were referred there by Polka Restaurant and went there with trepidation having not heard of this place before. I was met by the charming and informative host who showed me around the various bedrooms all designed in a unique and eclectic manner. The beds were comfortable and warm, the breakfast might have been small but tasty and I was... More

Beautiful guesthouse, great hospitality and a friendly owner. Inside it is just like a museum. All the rooms have a different design and decoration. We stayed in the gypsy room (no 7) with a canopy bed from the fairytale Aladin. At arrival you get a glass of sherry as a welcome drink. Breakfast is very good. The next morning, as... More
