Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Ciao, We stayed in Bristol cottage 3 nights, before and after Kilimanjaro climb, breakfast included. We booked through Leken adventures. The place is lovely and well suited for a deserved rest after a safari or a kili climb. The structure includes a beautiful swimming pool, a restful seating area in the green and nice and clean rooms. The staff is very friendly and professional. Food quality was very good. We recommend you to try the barbecue!

I recently stayed at Bristol Cottages 2 nights before and one night after hiking Mt Kilimanjaro. I have only positive things to say about my stay. The room (along with the bathroom) was spacious, clean, and included AC. The beds were very comfortable too. The food is great, including a breakfast buffet and an extensive lunch/dinner menu with all sorts of options. I tried a new dish each meal and enjoyed them all. Additionally, the property is very pretty and includes a lovely pool to lounge by.

A friend and I stayed at Bristol Cottages before our after we hiked Kilimanjaro. Our rooms/bathrooms both times were very clean and nice and we had a very enjoyable stay overall. The pool outside was gorgeous, the wi-fi worked well, and the service was extremely friendly. The food at the restaurant was also good. They also let us store a suitcase in their storage room while we hiked. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and I would also definitely come back!!

We stayed at Bristol Cottages before and after our Kilimanjaro Climb. The hotel facilities were very well maintained, had great food and most importantly were staffed by an outstanding team of professionals who were always very friendly and exceptionally helpful. It was great to visit Moshi and have a true east African experience. Thank You Bristol Cottages!

Very budget friendly hotel. Rooms are clean for the most part. Bathroom was not the best. Needs a remodel. has a tv and an air conditioner (that did not work) Staff was pleasant. Small property, gated. walking distance to a few souvenir shops.

Stopped here for 6 nights and was very happy with Bristol Cottages. The well laid out garden environment is very relaxing and the rooms themselves are immaculate and comfortable. The staff were great from being greeted by name on arrival to checking out. I had no problem with street noise, and the location is very secure with a 24 hour security guard. The location in Moshi is ideal as it is fairly central, and has plenty of small shops & cafes close by, and thankfully not in the busy market area. Fully recommended if you are visiting Moshi.

Stayed here for 3 nights - very nice and tasting food - staff very kind and smiling- you feel welcome. Room cleaned everyday! A very good experience. Good WiFi in the common areas. The moment you enter the property, it surprises you as it is all green and quiet and just doesn't feel you are right in the middle of the town!!
