We booked this hotel for two nights before our Kilimanjaro trip. The hotel is rustic but well maintained. Our room was comfortable and it worked well for us. The bed was little on the hard side. The bathroom was decent and they provided shampoo, conditioner and soap. Just remember you are in Tanzania. We arrived quite late but they kept...

We stayed here before and after our Kili trek and safari with Shah tours. Good accommodations a with a very friendly staff. The front and dining staff greeted us warmly upon our returns from both trips. Im sure they see lots of travelers post hike and safari but still held a genuine interest in how our trips went. Our service...

It's a pity I'm an impatient muzungu who prefers to keep an 8am appointment than have to wait for a disorganized kitchen to get their act together, (not even a cup of coffee by 07:15), otherwise I might be better inclined to appreciate the attractions of a hard, hollowed out bed, no TV and a grimy bathroom with luke-warm water....

The two ladies at the reception (Aisha and Susan) are extremely nice, helpful, and efficient. Both of them are true jewels of this hotel. When something does not work, the two ladies always go out of their way to have it fixed. The setting of the hotel is very nice and the Hotel is best to prepare for a climb...

We stayed in mountain inn for 1 week and No doubt this was the most amazing and unforgettable experience of our lives. We organised our trip through Shah Tours, as we went on safari for few days. All went well from moment we were picked up at Kili airport to being dropped off for return journey. Mountain Inn was a...

The girls at reception were awesome. Always smiling, so kind. One even gave me her phone when I needed internet. They were prompt and always helpful. Some other woman who works there -the one who does "massages" and runs the shop- is extremely rude, grumpy, unpleasant, and cynical. She didn't smile once, the massage I got was more like a...

Its not a five star facility as our TV didn't work and the water could of been a little hotter for the shower. With that being said, the room was clean, adequately furnished and quiet. The restaurant had good food and the grounds were well maintained. This hotels pride and joy is its staff! Amazingly warm, pleasant, helpful and sincere!...

We arrived without reservations, but with quotes (internet referenties) from Booking.com. Upon asking for the price for two nights we were charged higher than online price. And - and that was a First for me - we had to play upfront! So before delivering any service, we had to play. Of course the credit card machine was "not working". Rooms...
