NFTL is usually our first stop when we land in Tanzania. A short drive from Arusha and close to the crater it is the perfect place to spend a night and recoup from your journey before heading into the serengeti. The views are beautiful and the food is delicious. i strongly recommend visiting this place.

Everything was perfect, sleeping in a tent like the first Africa's explorers was an unforgettable experience with awesome comfortable beds. The hotel staff was really kind and provided a nice service, the food was simple but very good. We visited a typical village with Ernest, one of the hotel staff people, who was an actual good guide, with a very...

The Ngorongoro Forest Tented Lodge offers an unbelievably deluxe experience in the most rural of settings. Everything exceeded our expectations - the bed, the "tent", the food and - especially - the staff. Earnest and his crew are exceptional hosts. I would highly recommend this camp and the associated Safari excursions. Just and exceptional holiday!

The guys are in charge. Cater to French tourists but very accommodating to everyone. Food is delicious. Limited hours on the generator- it's off 11:00pm to 5:00am. Breakfast is good but no perked cofee, only instant. We stayed in one of the four new tents and they where very comfy. Lots of hot water and open concept behind the sleeping...

We really enjoyed our stay at NFTL! Our room had a breathtaking view! The food was marvelous and the staff very helpful and friendly! Its easy access to Both Ngorongoro and Manyara made it special and the wildlife we saw was magnificent. A must visit if you're looking to do both; the crater and lake manyara!

We stayed here after visiting Ngorongoro Crater. This lodge is not in the crater, but the views were still great, you are in the middle of a very lush green valley. Lodge was nice, I have stated this my other posts, we were in Tanzania to see the animals so our accommodations were good, we did not expect luxury so...

We stayed at 3 different tented camps during our safari: they were all very nice but this one was the best. The camp is very charming: only a couple of tents in the middle of the nature with a great view.Tents are very nice and comfortable with high quality furnitures and each of them has an amazing view on a...
