Small rooms and small beds. Pretty good breakfast, but not quite the level of the Sheraton. Staff tried to be helpful but didn't speak much English. Okay location near a mall but not too close to wal-mart/Starbucks. Close walk to Pizza Hut and kfc and good local restaurants.

Guiyang has a cool summer and that's great for tourism and business. This hotel was quite good, the room was clean with needed amenities, the food was quite good and it has a small shop in the hotel that sell small things we might need such as lighter :-) However not so many staff speak english.

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel whilst visiting China. the hotel is like all other multi storey inpersonal hotels across the world. As a previous review has said, lots of smoking in the lifts and lobby and my 'no smoking' room did smell of smoke. The rooms was clean, the bed reasonably soft, by Chineses standards, and the breakfast...

Clean, friendly and comfortable enough. The twenty or so guys smoking in the lobby, underneath the no-smoking signs kind of set the tone. When I asked at Reception if they permitted smoking, I was told cheerfully, 'Oh yes, you can smoke, it's OK' and when I pointed out the sign all I got was embarrassed giggles. It's a very smoky...

We stayed at the Trade Point hotel in Guiyang city for six nights as part of our adoption trip at the end of 2012. The hotel lobby is impressive, and their breakfast buffet is very good. The rooms were smaller than I expected, and the bed mattresses were uncomfortable. However, this hotel was several hundred $$ cheaper than the alternative...

The rooms were small and even through there were two beds i neach room, it was cramped moreso than the hotels we stayed in during our trip (Novatel in Beijing and White Swan in Guangzhou). The rooms has en ough of the amentities,...

This was a comfortable enough hotel in a good position in town. They had a couple of non-smoking floors. Room was big enough with a satisfactory bathroom, TV and tea making facilities. Clean windows would have enhanced the views but it is a multi-storey hotel so maybe that's a bit much to ask for here. Some minor problems we had...

During our travels in China, we found that a lot of cities have a bit of a gulf between their hotel choices. You can stay either in a filthy, smoke infested, dingy, smelly room with spit marks down the wall, or you can stay in a 4 star hotel. The Trade Point is close enough to the latter. This seemed...

It's obvious that not that many English speaking tourists stay at the Trade Point since this is the first review in English. However, it is certainly up to western standards. I traveled with a small group of 9; 8 Americans and 1 Australian. The rate was part of a tour so I don't know what it was but I'd guess...
