Hotel are very clean a so the attention of the host. Surrounding area very safe and a real friendly environment. You can't see junkies with drugs as in Canada .only nice families or couples with a welcome smile I myself will go in a near future to live in nanning paradise

Not a planned stop on our tour of Asia but if like us you were informed you could pick up all visa on the boarders as you go, Vietnam is the one place you can't! Unfortunately we arrived Saturday morning and had to wait until Monday to get a Visa. The hostel will organise your visa at a minimal cost...

We stayed in this hotel in January 2011 and have to say that we did not see any roaches. The communal area was clean enough, the rooms themselves are very clean, ensuite bathrooms with warm water (we even had a jacuzzi as we got the family room due to double booking). Loads of DVD's in the communal area so you...

I have been staying in hostels for over 10 years and this is well and truly in my bottom three. The place is crawling with cockroaches and when I told the staff about the ones I had spotted in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom they made no effort to clean up or get rid of the cockroaches. The kitchen is...

Thankfully we only stayed here for one night. This place is quite difficult to find, as stated in previous reviews. Once you arrive at the apartment building, there is minimal signage and very poor lighting. Ex: once you arrive on the 11 floor, the hallway was pitch black… Although there is a motion light that was nearly impossible to activate....

After a number of days travelling through Vietnam, arriving at Nanning City Hostel at 11:30pm, we were delighted that the host (who doesn't live on site) was there and able to check us in. With lots of DVDs, a lovely kitchen, balcony looking over the city and friendly staff - it was a pleasure to stay here, and in fact...

Did not stay here. This review is based on a visit with a Chinese friend. He was told that Chinese couldn't stay in the place; he was made very uncomfortable. This kind of reverse discrimination is totally unacceptle.

There are pluses and minus for everything. I stayed on Jan 22 for 2 nights. +: people and staffs are very friendly and helpful in calling bus/train stations. Rooms are clean and quiet. Great view from the 11th floor. Free water, laundry. Cooking facilities. -: not enough heat in the room nor in the living room. Fuse tripped most of...

We stayed at nanning City Hostel fro 2 nights in early December 2011. After having a difficult time to find the place, and asking about 4 people, we eventually found it. The signs, or sall I say sign, is a single A4 piece of paper on the outside of the entrance to the building. It is actually an appartment on...

Right, first of all the hostel its self was great, the facillities were all that they are cracked up to be, the xbox/ps2/kitchen, what wasn't was the staff. Most of the staff to put it lightly where as usless as a chocolate tea pot! Not really ever there and no way to contact them when they weren't there. Just this...
