This hotel is not on the spot as shown on the booking.com website, but further away from the town centre on a abandoned street. Just a few simple restaurants in the neighbourhood which were closed because of ramadan. Airport pickup is free, but did not show up although it was confirmed twice. Problem is that the staff does not speak...

Cheap. Air conditioner worked. Staff were friendly and helpful. Driver made available to help with some tasks around the city. Walking distance to Tsunami Museum and The Baiturrahman Grand Mosque. Westerners should be aware that while 'functional' the room and bathroom facilities are rudimentary. Great location for the faithful as impossible to miss a call to prayers with a number...

Had a 2 night stay here in Banda Aceh. Roaming the town was easy since we have a guide. Room was clean, spacious with basic facility. Rate was really2 cheap. They provide meal for our sahor, but we only ate once.

It's a simple anonymous hotel - there is nothing special about it. It's well cleaned (actually it is smelling a bit like cleaning liquids but we prefer this instead of other smells ;) ) and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast ist a pre-packed Nasi Goreng, taste was good and we were absolutely happy with it. Location is not the...

This is a Red Cross owned hotel property. The local staff is very friendly and helpful and English is spoken at reception. Free airport and ferry pickups but you will need to contact the hotel to arrange it in advance (I used facebook to contact them). When I stayed I think I was the only guest-others seemed to be affiliated...

We did not realize, until we arrived, that we would be staying at a hotel managed by the Indonesian Red Cross, and that all profits earned by the hotel are donated back to the ongoing Red Cross projects in Indonesia. The hotel name Rumoh PMI actually translates to mean "Red Cross House", as was explained to me by one of...

I stayed here for 1 night with a friend. We had twin room. I think Rumoh PMI is an accommodation owned by Red Cross Indonesia, thus the name. So it could be a bit crowded when there's seminar or meeting in the hall. The surrounding area is quiet. No restaurant or cafe near by, but you can always take motor-taxi....
