At Bagan is one of the best hostels I've found around my Myanmar trip. The rooms are clean, there are hot water showers and you'll get a good breakfast too. The staff is very friendly and they'll be always here for you when you need them. The hostel has a happy hour time every day and the bar is open...

At Bagan is the new hostel in Bagan, formally called Thiri SANDAR. Great place to stay. Italian management is excellent, attention to detail and very nicely designed. The rooms are extremely clean and with new solar technology there is an abundance of hot water! Being situated in new Bagan, there are many restaurants to choose from and the hire of...

Actually we was plan to stay 2 nights at this motel, but we stayed only one night. Our room with dormitories for 9 persons. They make their dormitories ladder without frame control and two of us was injury because of their ladder. And when their injury was blood, their manager (Italian Guy) said we have to pay for new bad...

We stayed here for two nights in the end of November, when it was currently being renewed by a group of young people that told us they want it to be ready for the high season. Even if it was a little bit of a construction site, though, we absolutely had no problem in our stay. The room they gave...

We spend 3 nights here in October 2014. The staff was semi-friendly for the most part, but the manager had a TERRIBLE attitude and treated us with blatant disrespect. Not only did she not offer any discount for the fact that the hotel was undergoing severe renovation work - the main staircase and hallway were regularly inaccessible and there was...

The bathroom is among the more disgusting rooms I have seen, as it appears to not have been cleaned in recent history. Arrived early at the hotel, friendly staff let us check in at 04:00am, which was good. Did try to overcharge for the departure cab

Unfriendly, very dirty, noisy, outdated and overpriced...there must be a better hotel around. The bathroom is the worst we have seen in the whole country. Staff is not helpful at all. Also, new bagan is boring compared to nyaung u, even though lonely planet sends you there...

This budget place in new bagan is not bad. We arrived on the bus at 3am and they put us in one of the temporary rooms on the roof until we could check in property later that morning, much appreciated. The staff don't have great English but it never posed much of a problem and they were friendly. We rented...

The staff was semi-friendly, we never knew if they'd frown at us next or smile. Surprisingly they smiled and thanked us when we left. This guest house did not offer any complimentary bottled water, which most of our guest house stays did. The pictures shown on tripadvisor for this motel are exactly what you get. Clean and tidy at first...

Pretty ordinary place with basic services. Hotel management need to learn the art of customer service - a smile, hello, goodbye, how can I help and not ignoring people would be a good start. Pretty good location.
