Wonderful place to stay. Rooms are traditional and clean and well maintained. The bed has a very comfortable mattress and pillows with clean fresh linen. Shower was warm and worked well. Meals were good and very generous. Great view for bird watching from the upstairs meal area. Our guide was great and really looked after us at the lodge and on safari. The safari both by keep and on foot was great. Highly recommend staying here.

Had and amazing time at bardiya eco lodge. Located adjacent to the national park, with natural style lodgings and solar power. Our guide Madhu was very kind, cooked amazing food and had an intimate knowledge of the park and its animals. He ensured we were comfortable and were able to see as many of the animals the national park has living within. We saw many tigers and the river dolphin which were highlights, as well as many birds, deer and monkeys. Highly recommend to the traveler looking to have a homey and nature-filled adventure.

What a great place to stay! Its very arsthetic, quiet and peaceful. The rooms are beautiful and the beds are great. We did three nights four days with a walking safari and jeep safari and it was amazing. The guide and manager Madou is so great, knowledgable friendly and funny. We managed to see three tigers while we were here how lucky! The food was homemade and tasted amazing, and they happily catered to vegetarian/vegan. Would definitely stay here again and again!

Truly amazing experience at Bardia Eco Lodge! The location is perfect, with a view of the river and park from the balcony! The property is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable. Our hosts and guides, Madhu and Saurav, ensured we had a great stay! They organized a jungle walk, jeep safari and river safari for us during our stay. In addition to guiding us, they cooked us amazing food for us for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They did everything they could to help us spot animals in the park. During our stay we were lucky to see lots of monkeys and birds, a rhino, and even a TIGER! I am so grateful to both of them for the amazing experience we had at Bardia Eco Lodge!!

The experience at Bardia Eco Lodge was very special! The contact with nature that can be felt in the accommodation and the harmony of that place is inexplicable. The property is peaceful and comfortable. As a nature and wildlife lover, what attracts me are remote places and in the middle of the jungle. Bardia Eco Lodge is not only an extraordinary place to be close to nature but also has a fantastic and super attentive staff. Madhu, the lodge manager is super attentive and friendly! I really enjoyed meeting him. The rooms are clean, the food is inspired by Nepalese cuisine (which makes the experience even more enriching) and the proximity to the jungle is so close that sometimes we can even hear the wild animals at night! In the rooms, there is the option of eco-cottages with ecological bathrooms or standard cottages. What I liked most about the rooms was the Tharu style (regional style) and the proximity to the jungle. The rooms are quite simple but have everything you need for a stay in the jungle. The extraordinary Balcony was probably my favourite spot in the Eco Lodge. It has a magnificent view over the river, where you can enjoy a beautiful meal prepared in the traditional style while enjoying the beautiful view. Eco Lodge is made of sustainable and regional materials which is incredible! It is less than a 5-minute walk from the entrance to the Bardia National Park, where we had the opportunity to see 2 tigers, although in the distance, several species of monkeys, several rhinos up close, elephants, several species of birds and even crocodiles! It was a rich and unforgettable experience. Bardia Eco Lodge organised all the jungle trips. The one that impressed me the most is the jungle walks! It's a full day hike through the jungle, leaving early in the morning and arriving late in the afternoon. It is possible to walk in the habitat of incredible species, enjoy the beautiful views under the jungle and with any luck spot animals up close! Rafting is also a spectacular activity! You can't miss it either! A walk on the river Karnali through the most remote places of the jungle, where we can see the animals drinking water in the river or cooling off. The village walks activity was also very good, it was possible to understand a little of the daily life of the locals and get to know the surroundings of the park. I strongly recommend it to anyone who likes simple places, close to nature and where you can feel the culture of the region up close.

Staying at Bardia Eco Lodge made this experience memorable. The balcony view of the park is simply amazing! One day we are having lunch and a group of Elephants appeared just in front of the balcony. The room was very clean and had all conditions such as a fan, mosquito nets, toilet and shower and soap. It has a veranda outside where we ate breakfast with a beautiful view of its gardens that look like a jungle. From the veranda, we saw a wide range of birdlife. The location of the lodge is incomparable, as you have the park right on the other side of the road and the entrance to it in a 5 minutes walk. It is also very easy to go to the village to buy groceries. There were fresh drinks available and the meals were always prepared with local vegetables. The staff was all-time charming and attentive and the guides were very experienced. During jungle walks, they told us everything about safety during the experience, like what we should do in the case of every situation. They were also very good at spotting wildlife with made the experience even more interesting. We've done all jungle activities with Bardia Eco Lodge and loved them all. Rafting is incredible because is very peaceful and you get the feeling you are not disturbing the wildlife, almost as if you were invisible. During all activities, the guide carried a packed lunch and also fruits to eat during the stops for observing wildlife. The manager of the lodge, Madhu, is wonderful and we'll never forget how well he treated us.
