I've been coming to Casa Mexicana on and off now for 2 years. I've stayed in their gorgeous rooms, I've celebrated birthdays in their restaurant, I've had business breakfast meetings in their courtyard and I've had many a relaxing solo coffee or margarita here with friends. It is my favourite hidden gem in Tapachula, and is perfect for any occasion....

The decorations aren't quite what I'd put in my house, but it made for an interesting hotel. Our room was nice, clean and comfortable. The pool was a bit chilly, but it was nice to use after a day on the road. The staff was very nice and helpful. We had a car full of stuff and we were able...

Their was a visit with a large group of friends so most of the ten available rooms were checked out buy our group. Hotel staff was very attentive to our needs. The on site restaurant is a plus if you don't want to leave the property. Great stay at a great price.

The rooms have mexican decoration, and you can feel an intimate and friendly atmosphere. Each room´s name is the name of a great woman of mexican history, mine was CHavela Vargas. I really loved it and breakfast was delicious. The best hotel in Tapachula

"Casa Mexicana" is exactly the type of hotel I'm always looking for on my usually quite exhausting trips all over the world, but rarely find: A small garden to ease down, a family-like athmosphere, friendly staff, good food - I hope to come back soon.

Did not stay here, but looked at rooms which seemed very nice. Staff who hosted our Tequila tasting were really great--friendly & interesting. They served our small group in an interesting, pub like bar. The accompanying snacks were delicious. Worth a visit!
