I been there several times over the last few years and and returned there this month. They had very limited service, the rooms were nice but the TV in both rooms did not have cable service, the bar had no beer to serve us and we could not have diner outside because of all the mosquitos. The ventilator was not...

Quick ride from the city, friendly staff and delicious food. Had a wonderful experience, definitively would recommend. You ask for their mojitos! Warm, comfortable and quiet, feel like a home away from home.

Saladilla Hotel is situated just a few minutes drive from Barahona (not walking distance). It has a nice beach (although it was seaweed-time when we were there). The hotel feels like a home, but with all the amenities you could wish for. We had a really nice time, and were very well taken care of, both concerning safety and service....

Friendly staff and nice spacious rooms, good bed and linens, we had an ocean view, cost $69 plus tax. The hotel was a private residence converted to a hotel, nicely done, large clean pool and pretty views of the bay and mountains from the entire property. This part of the island is very dry so a good place to go...

Simply put, I recommend you go find someplace else to stay in the Barahona area. There was no hot water, the air conditioning only worked part of the time, and the breakfast was eggs, bread and water since someone forgot to go to the market for juice and fruit. We had to make a special request for some jam. It...

We had a semi-comfortable stay for one night. Very friendly & helpful staff. Clean hotel for the most part. Rooms were basic without any decor or ambiance, and bathroom fixtures were a bit rusty. The hot water was not working the evening of our arrival, but was fixed the next morning. Great view of the ocean from our room, and...

Had a great 3-night stay. Quiet and relaxing. The owner and staff are all friendly and helpful, arranging tours for us and calling cabs. The rooms are nice and spacious, bathrooms are clean, daily maid service. Barahona is a 10-minute and 200-peso ride away, so we ate mostly at the restaurant. Not the best food - awkward cross between international...

I spent a night here on my way further south into Barahona province. The room and bathroom were rather basic and the lobby/reading area was a shambles. It looks like an older hotel that has seen better days. The pool looks like it is maintained haphazardly and the grounds aren't that nice. My dinner was awful, though breakfast was decent....

My wife and I found this place on accident and it ended up being one of the best unplanned experiences we could have hoped for. We like to travel without rigid plans and that usually works great for us and leads to many spontaneous adventures. We were on our honeymoon and had decided we wanted to explore the less visited...

My girlfriend and I stayed at this beautiful hotel for a few days and the view from our balcony was breath taking. I believe this hotel was once a private residence, you really feel at home here and the entire staff makes you feel live family. My only complaint with the hotel is that there was no refrigerator in the...
