Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place is amazing, spacious and beautiful for a beach getaway.

I came down to Cabarete to learn to kite surf and this is an ideal location. It is less than a ten minute walk away from dozens of different restaurants and kite schools, with people constantly launching kites directly in front of the property.

The staff was really nice and super considerate. Erika, the manager, even helped me find a place to get a COVID test right down the road so that I could successfully return back to the United States. Really appreciated that.

Days are beautiful and nights are quiet. I came with no vehicle, but the location was absolutely fine for those trying to get around without one. Highly, highly recommend :)

We enjoyed the tasteful decorated apartment and the wonderful beach which is right adjacent to the apartment complex. The spot is perfect for kiters and long distance walks at the beach.
The apartment complex is situated in Cabarete, the restaurants can be reached via a walk on the beach. A supermarket is also in walking distance for the basics you need.

We stopped in unannounced and the staff were so gracious! We were shown a unit which happened to be unoccupied at the time and were so impressed that we are considering purchasing one. It was very quiet and the scenery was just beautiful, it is right on the beach and a short distance to the nightlife, the grounds were kept very well. Only problem I could see is that inside the unit there is a spiral staircase which could be difficult for someone with mobility problems. Other than that I give it an A+ Louise & Tim Driscoll

My husband, daugher, and i stayed at Nanny Estates in February based on wonderful reviews hat we had read on Trip Advisor. Upon arriving, we were shown to our beautiful oceanside condo. We were robbed within the first five minutes of being there. A man crowbarred the bars on the kitchen window, climbed through the window and stole my husbands bag with computer and all of his cash while we were being shown the upstairs by the management. The thief was found down the beach shortly after..but we never retrieved our money. My husband spent the first few days of our vacation shuttling between the police station and court. We will never know if it was an inside job...it seemed very odd that the person who robbed us knew that we were upstairs at the time. The lax security made for a horrible vacation. beautiful setting, nice beach....but certainly not a feeling of safety.

The Villa Chez at Cabarete Beach Houses used to be a restaurant and was converted into a large villa. When I say large, I should probably say ENORMOUS ! Perfect for large groups or families. We stayed here for 18 days ( over Christmas and New Years ) and quite enjoyed it.

The main floor has 3 huge bedrooms, all with their own ensuites and then a 4th common bathroom. If you have a larger group, you can opt to also use the downstairs apartment that sleeps 4 more, for a total of 10 people. Wi-Fi is available and works most of the time ( inside and outside )

Their fee includes airport pickup ( one way ) it costs $35 for the return trip for a van load. They also have available, a lady chef named Maribel who will shop for fresh food, make you dinner, wash your dishes when you're done eating and put them away ( I'm not kidding ) then put the left-overs in the fridge for your lunch the next day. All for $12 USD P/P. ( $15 USD if you have lobster ) The main office has a menu list that you can select your food choices from.

Another unique feature of this villa is that it is located right next to the pool and you have lots of outdoor patio space right outside your door. The area is very sheltered, so you can escape the breeze if you want to. The resort is about 15 mins walk up the beach to the numerous restaurant choices and of course just two minutes to get a cup of fresh cup of cappuccino every morning at the Cabarete Coffee Company..

The beach houses are excellent for kids as well as for surfing. We were in A9 and the interior was fantastic. The pool is very good for kids and the whole property is very clean and very well taken care of. Bring enough USD in cash to pay the bill.

I stayed at Nanny Estates Unit A6 over the summer for ten days. It was our first time to the Republic and our first time renting a suite instead of going all inclusive. I was very very impressed. Let me start with the Resort Itself-- In the morning I would stand out on the deck and watch the beautiful view of the ocean. I appreciated how few people there were out on the grounds (coming from experiences with all inclusive) I enjoy the pool and was often the only one in it--But never shared the pool with more than one other family. Cabarete Coffee is just at the end of the driveway and you could walk out in the morning and get fresh fruit and honey for breakfast with a nice fresh coffee. I was impressed with all of the food in Dominican. Nanny Estates is walking Distance from all the Beach Restaurants in Cabarete...I would often walk down the beach. I found the staff friendly and felt very safe. The grounds were nicely groomed and the beach was always clean and void of peddlers.

A6--That is the Unit we stayed in....And the only unit I would stay in now. My unit was amazing, the living room looked like something you would see on HGTV and the beds were comfortable. I found everything I needed in the kitchen and loved the rooftop patio. I looked through the windows of some of the other units and they looked like they had fallen staight out of the 80's. (Though if you had a party of 10 or more, I would rent the unit that is right next to the pool)

I went diving in Sousua with the Cabarete Dive Company--Found them excellent, The water was beautiful and the staff friendly (And Extremely Knowledgeable) We also went to Monkey Jungle...Very good cause....And a wonderful encounter with the Monkeys...I was going to go ziplining but I was too tired from Diving that morning...lol

I would definetly recommend for anyone to try Cabarete. It is less mainstream than Punta Cana and for anyone looking for the quieter, friendlier version of international travel. I loved the area and the people...I will definetly be heading back to A6!!

We were met at the airport by the cab with a sign from Cabarete Beach Houses with our name on it. This made getting there so easy. This was our 1st trip to the Dominican Republic, on the drive to the condo, the cab driver stopped at the grocery store so we could get the things we would need. The location is AMAZING, my wife and i walked into town via the beach (5 minutes) for lunch and dinner almost every day. The staff was amazing, friendly and very helpful. Maria the manager, made sure we had everything we wanted or needed to make our trip special. The have an open area to set up you kite / windsurf gear. If you are a kiter and need to land you kite, the staff will give you a hand. We always felt as if the staff enjoyed having us there as much as we loved being there. Cabarete Beach Houses has become our vacation spot, we will be there at least once a year. It was very hard to leave, my wife and i had to fight back tears on our last night. If you want to have the experience of a lifetime, then you must visit this place. We are counting down the days until we can return. This is a great place for couples or families.

We knew within the first week of our 4 week stay, we wanted to return! The thoughts of winter back home quickly melted away by the warm ambience and charm of this villa added to by the staff and their professional yet discreet manner. Restaurants or grocery shopping are accessible via the beach or roadway within walking distance. Catering is available and highly recommended for a pampered dinner in. The pool, quaint and inviting after a stroll into town or walk on the beach. Family friendly, babysitting, well secured, efficient, and grounds that are pleasing to the eye. Step out to the elevated flagstone patio overlooking the ocean and kite surfers will entertain you endlessly. The Cabarete Coffee Shop, strategically located on the road at the front of the villa offers breakfast or lunch/beverages. I asked my wife if she would like to return next year {2016}. I know that smile! The Cabarete Beach House is definitely not an all-inclusive. It is much more than that!
