Wow! what a find, lovely old world charm, huge lush gardens where one can get lost, just to relax on one of the many benches to take in the beauty. Great spacious accommodation. Ixopo is not the most inspiring place in the Eastern Cape but Kings Grant country retreat was a haven to behold. We received a warm welcome and shown to our rooms. the service was very good. we an late and they waited for us. the room was huge and comfortable. it is so relaxing there. it had a wonderful view rom the stoop on the garden. breakfast was wonderful. I loved it. the personal are so helpfull

After a hectic day of traveling the hills of KZN, this guesthouse was like an oasis. One is welcomed by the ringing of the cowbells and the sound of cows all round.
