We spent a week at the Nakamanda Resort and really enjoyed it. The rooms are very large and we particularly liked the shaded veranda with day bed. Like many of the other reviewers we found the bed too hard for our taste. The only other issue we had with the room is that as the door didn't close tightly we...

I wanted to like this place. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The design of the rooms is great, with nice materials. And you can get an excellent massage at the spa. But whoever owns the Nakamanda is starving it of the cash needed to maintain it properly. It would like to be first class, but it is not...

Let me start with the good points. We loved our room and the outside space with it's views, it has a really cosy feeling. True Thai hospitality and customer service, we felt really looked after. The restaurant on the beach, the food is mixed, some good some barely edible, must say when you send it back they take you seriously...

Great hotel. The service is very good as well. The hotel is located very close to the beach. The rooms are big but most of them have no sea view even though they say it has. There are lots of restaurants nearby but nothing else to do.

The Nakamanda is a beautiful villa/resort type hotel but what makes it truly stand out is the exceptional staff from the recep all the way down to the restaurant crew and housekeeping! The villa itself was beautiful with an amazing tub (tho it took forever to fill up). Overall an amazing stay!

The resort is small and very attractive with individual villas offering large rooms with spacious dressing area, shower and bath and lovely, large outside terrace. The pool is fantastic and huge, with lovely views. The staff are what sets this place apart, they were the best we met during our trip round Thailand, attentive, consistently smiling and keen to address...

This was our first stop after more then a 24HR commute to Thailand. It was the perfect location for a quick recharge and a little pampering before we took on the rest of our trip. Service was excellent, and the breakfast hit the spot. If you're looking to be swimming in the ocean this won't be the location for you,...

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were impressed with the staff's friendliness and professionalism. The hotel is set in lush tropical gardens and by design each villa seems relatively private. The villas are very comfortable and the verandah area at the front each villa is a lovely addition. A wonderful buffet breakfast is served at the beachfront...
