Ruth is a gem. She is willing to help you plan your travels on Carretera Austral or simply leave you to enjoy the beautiful views of Patagonia House. The beds are so comfortable. A real hotel bed, but with beautiful views of the mountains. The rooms are large, plenty of space to bring home a bottle of wine, drink and...

We stayed at Patagonia House to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. It is thanks to Ruth & her thoughtful, attentive staff that we had such an amazing time. The Room: large windows with a beautiful view of the grounds & the mountains; comfortable king size bed with soft linens; heated bathroom floor with huge shower; tastefully decorated in every...

Stayed at PH in conjunction with a guided fishing trip. The stay was wonderful, with a nicely appointed room and very friendly staff. Ruth, the owner, was so helpful and pleasant. The breakfasts and dinners (we ate both meals here for 6 days) were delicious, beautifully prepared and presented and varied. The quality was exceptional.

This was my second stay at Patagonia House, both times for ten days to fly fish with the excellent outfitters, Chiletrout.com. Ruth Cohen and her staff go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. The facilities are roomy and comfortable. The breakfasts and other meals are superb; everything is fresh and delicious. The location is perfect for making...

The day of the booking we arrived at the hotel from Puyuhuapi at about 7pm with our two young children to be told by the owner, with absolutely no hint of apology, that they had double booked our room and could no longer accommodate us, although they were willing to offer us dinner and breakfast. The owner insisted that she...

We loved our stay here where everything was elegant and tasteful. Both breakfast and the evening meal were superb. Owner Ruth was helpful and attentive at all times. Perfect for a restful stay or as a base for trout fishing in the Coyhaique area.

This place is owened by Ruth, who speaks various languages and takes special detail to excellent food and small amenities that make all the difference. It consists in different cabins, each with a private bathroom, heating (optional by radiators or fireplace) and a kitchennete. The bed was amazing, excellent linens and incredible pillows. Absolute silence to rest! The bathroom had...

I just returned from two weeks of trout fishing based in Coyhaique, Patagonia, Chile. Of that time, three nights were spent at Patagonia House. My only regret is that I didn't stay there for the entire trip. Accommodations, food and staff were excellent+! The owner, Ruth Cohen, lives on site and is as gracious and accommodating as one could possibly...

After our original booking fell through, we located Patagonia House. Our booking disaster was transformed into a thoroughly enjoyable experience thanks to the warmth and hospitality of Ruth and her beautiful facility. Ruth and her husband built the several separate units/3cabins on the property and their skill, taste and creativity is in evidence everywhere you look. Our 2 bedroom, 2...

This place is unbelievable. While it's in Coyhaique, you feel as if you were in a cabin in the mountains. All surrounded with lavender, trees and flowers. The decor of rooms and dinning area is beautiful and unique. We booked the last available room, which the lovely owner said was the smallest- nevertheless it was very comfortable and cozy. It...
