Dear susane 126, Thank you so much for your great review. We have realized that nature will always prevail. The GM hike has become a very popular feature, which Tina and I equally enjoy; thank you for joining us. I will most certainly share your compliments with the staff. Best, Tim

The hotel is in a perfect position to enjoy both the cooling breeze from the Atlantic and the soothing rustle of the palm trees liberally scattered throughout the grounds. All of the staff -- maintenance, ground, restuarants , bar , front office and management knew your name and

This was a perfect vacation for us. It was our first time on Nevis, and it is a wonderfully peaceful and agreeable place. Nisbet is the embodiment of all that is good about Nevis. It is NOT a big resort with tons of activities. It is instead a refined but unpretentious place

Great accommodations, food and service. Violet was our hostess at breakfast and she was especially wonderful. Very relaxing stay. Would stay there again. All of the staff made a real point to know us and our names.

This was actually the fifth time we had stayed at Nisbet, but we had not been for twenty years. We were lucky enough to find that Tim and Tina had returned to manage Nisbet - they are great hosts, now joined by the lovely Don - and to find many of the same staff some of whom

Nisbet Plantation is located on the Atlantic coast of Nevis: so the wave action does stir up the sand. Swim out 10 yards, and you are in clear water. The same applies to the Caribbean side, although that swim might be 3 yards. United, American and Delta all fly direct to St. Kitts from New York on Saturdays in the high season: until mid March. At other times of the year, daily service is provided through Miami, onwards to St Kitts. The transfer to Nevis from St Kitts should only be one hour, and is included in a 5 night stay or longer.

Yes. There are three meal plans offered, one of which is an all-inclusive option. You can review Nisbet's meal plan options on their 'Rates' page of their website.

Hi There is pretty much always a breeze: generally soft and gentle in November. Yes, it's very safe to swim. Tim

HI Brian, There is a convenience store at the local gas station, just a half mile stroll; with some local prepared foods: pizza etc. There is real local cuisine in Newcastle and the surrounding area: goat water, fried fish. Best Tim

Hello, Thanks for asking. There is as much to do in Nevis as you want to do. I could keep you busy every day, but that's not what it sounds like you are after. There is hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, walking, exploring, driving, touring, eating, drinking, sleeping, 'liming' (chilling): snorkel trips, sailing, golf, St Kitts day trip, scuba diving, jet skiing, mountain climbing, then more eating, drinking. Charlestown early on a Sunday morning is a treat: no people or traffic. Sound good? I am the Manager here, so can help with any and all of these. With pleasure.
