This could be one of our fave spots to date. Obscure, quaint, kind and a top beach spot ... it was perfect. Forget the pomp and circumstance, forget the pretentious staff.... it's just a clean, nice place with fantastic people. When I asked the front desk if they knew where I could get a yoga mat, Nikita went above and...

Spent a night twice, first time in Room 204 and the second time in Room 203. Rooms are in cottages, which is quaint and rustic. Small issues with doors not closing properly. Rm 203 you were unable to close the bathroom door all the way. Both rooms, the screen door in the verandah did not lock.- which is a security...

Calm waters, beautiful view across the narrows to St Kitts and a chill atmosphere with a friendly, professional staff. The beer is cold, the bartenders always friendly and the owners; John and Alistair great hosts. My wife and I have been several times and brought friiends on our last visit. Some of our my fondest memories have been from Nevis...

The hotel is right on the beach so no swimming pool. The sea is calm and reasonably clear. The rooms are very clean but could do with a little update. We had a window behind our bed where humming birds could be seen as we woke and from the other window we could see the sea. The food, despite the...

Thanks for your lovely review. Chef Gary has taken your advice to heart and the dinner menu now changes every evening. He has added more items to the fixed lunch menu to add variety. We also recently completed customer service re-training for all staff. We hope to welcome you back to Oualie really soon.

Staying at the Qualie Beach Resort was a delight. I want to start with the minus points and finish with the many plus points. Minus points. We felt the hotel needed a major TLC facelift. I think we were given a older room (203) that we felt needed a makeover. Rotten wood needed replacing in areas ( restaurant ) and...

Thank you for recommending our hotel to other guests. We are pleased that you loved your stay with us and complimented all our staff. Your comments about the need for some TLC and new sun loungers is noted. Chef Gary has also noted various comments including your own about the need for menu variety. As a result he has just...

This will be a lengthy review as I want to do the resort justice but ... So I'd read the FB reviews before I went and feel the need to agree / disagree with bits of them. Getting to Nevis i.e. the journey has got to be seen as part of the holiday as: 1 Your plane will almost certainly...

Thanks for your very detailed and extensive review. We are delighted that this was one of your best Caribbean holidays so far. I note your comment that even though the fish was lovely this was limited to just two choices of fish. We do this on purpose as the Caribbean, like most Tropical destinations, has an issue with Ciguateria which...

Stayed here several times before, so was really disappointed about the poor check in experience and total indifference of the front desk clerks. It's like I was bothering them by showing up. WiFi didn't work for the whole time I was there, not that they cared. This might have been a worse review but that would be mean spirited because...

Thanks for staying with us frequently and complimenting our property. However, I apologise that our receptionists were not more welcoming. We took your advice and recently held 3 re-training sessions for all staff on customer service. We look forward welcoming you back to Oualie Beach Resort soon.

Like other reviewers, I would say that if you want glitz, casinos and shopping, then you maybe better off somewhere else. If you are looking for a totally chilled out vacation on an 'out' island that's easy to get to, then this is for you. Oualie is a great little find. everything works, but in a charming laid back island...

I fall into the first category, but I can well see that persons expecting Four Seasons type of Resort would hate it. You need to do proper research before going there. To me as an Englishman it is some thing like a country pub having a very friendly bar with restaurant and rooms attached. The accent is on the bar...

You have described the ambience of Oualie Beach perfectly. It is one of the few locations where you will find an ecclectic mingling of locals, visitors and resident expats particularly on a Tuesday night!

We just returned from a week at Oualie Beach, and, after benefitting from dozens of reviews, I'm eager to return the favor. If what you want is Four Seasons at Holiday Inn prices, this is NOT the place for you. That's not the way the world works, and you're going to complain. Oualie Beach is a wonderful, simple, laid back...
