I stayed at cabin B on White Rock Mountain for 5 days in November. The area and the mountains are beautiful, quiet and peaceful. During the week at least in November it was very secluded, which I think is very desirable. Finding this kind of place in the midwest is rare. The cabins were built in the late nineteen-thirties and...

I'm eagerly awaiting my return to WRM in 15 days. I'm counting down. This will be the third year in a row that I've stayed several days on the mountain. I can't say enough good things about it. I'm bothered by and ashamed of the folks who think it's ok to name-call on a review site. Especially when the person...

We've come here every year in every season (but usually fall) since the mid-80s. We've survived the loudest, longest thunderstorm known to man and gotten back down the mountain only after moving downed trees from the road. We've eaten the best steaks and fettuccine Alfredo and country breakfasts. We've hung out with friends who get it and had the best...

Magnificent site, run-down facilities. The view from atop White Rock Mountain is perhaps the best in the Ozark Mountains. If you want remote, this is remote. The final nine miles to the top of the mountain is a dirt road. A car can make the trip -- slowly -- and a 4X4 truck is just right. Motor Cross motorcycles make...

This is a very beautiful place our stay was peaceful. The cabin was perfect for a rustic quiet stay. Scenery is magnificent. We will do this again. The hiking trails are a challenge. Be prepared to get your exercise. Mrs. Paula is very nice and helpful. Give this place a try.

After reading the reviews on here about the cabins was for sure a bit skeptical of them so we decided to camp. Storm chances made us rent a cabin the first night and honestly it was decent. Rustic as you would imagine but I wasn't disgusted or anything it was as expected dry and mostly clean with great views. The...

The views, hiking trails, wildlife, and weather were awesome. But stay away from these filthy cabins. Dirtiest mess we have ever stayed at . I love Arkansas but these cabins do not represent very well! Will hike there but never stay there again.

We have stayed in the cabins twice, and love the view and rustic cabins. Cabin B has a mildew problem. When my dad stayed their two years ago, I was concerned by the strong musty odor, but in two years' time I forgot, and we took the last available cabin for a last minute getaway. We cancelled our second night...

We had an excellent stay atop White Rock Mountain. We chose to stay at the camp sites rather than in one of the cabins. I believe there are only 8-10 campsites total and they are removed from the area that has the 3 cabins. For our entire stay, we were the only people in the entire campsite which was really...

Whiterock Mountain is an affordable, almost-off-the-grid experience. The cabins are almost 80 years old and possess the bare essentials... running hot water, electricity, comfy furniture, basic kitchen, utensils, wood-burning stove with blower (firewood is provided), coffee pot. The price is cheap, but the view is worth millions. Don't expect luxury...expect relaxation and fellowship. Paula, the caretaker, is very friendly and...
