The location of this hotel is great, right in front of the train station. The views are breathtaking! Totally worth the trip. Rooms are very basic but sufficiently large and comfortable, although they can get noisy at night (wood flooring and roofs + noisy heaters) Food at the restaurant is basic but ok, nothing fancy. Try to do the adventure...

Following the train ride on El Chepe from La Paz it was great to stop and take in the view, we were lucky to be able to stay for a night at this very moderate hotel. Yes it wasn't 5 star but we didn't need that as we were out doing things. The adventure park!!! A must, not for the...

You cannot fault the location for its dramatic views and easy public transport access by rail and bus. The train stop is short walk across the road and the bus stops next to the hotel. Some reasonable walking areas and wildlife close to the hotel. Great view from my room balcony area. The hotel is rather expensive but to be...

If it wasn't for the view I would give this hotel a 1 star, the view is the only redeeming quality of this hotel. Here are a list of things that are wrong with it: * You can hear every single footstep from the room above you. * The hot water only lasted 3 minutes (on both days we stayed...

You can expect beautiful views and adequate rooms. If you are English speaking it will be challenging to communicate any of your needs. Food is edible and usually cold as it is a buffet style restaurant. They are accommodating if you can communicate your request. Rooms could use some maintenance. When we requested that damaged chairs be replaced so we...

Truthfully we didn't get past the bar. We stopped on a tour and took a break. The hotel is breathtaking. The view is endless, and the common rooms are comfortable and offer glimpses into the style of old Mexico. Divisadero is quite close to Barrancas.

First of all, we were lucky to get a room in this hotel during the Mexican Indépendance Day weekend. The view is just amazing from the room. But we experienced water shortage in the morning and couldn't take shower. The food in the restaurant was so-so, but I guess there are no options nearby anyways. The wifi works only in...

I rate this property excellent because all rooms have the most amazing views imaginable. It is just a few steps away from the train. Yes, the rooms could use a little upgrade but I enjoyed every minute at the hotel. The hotel staff worked really hard to make our visit memorable. The public areas are very beautiful. I found myself...

This place is incredible for its view of copper canyon. Stay at least one night and walk around ; you would be satisfied. Food is not amazing but faced to hunger is OK. The view from the restaurant is breathless!!
