Fantastic hosts in this first class chalet. Great food and hospitality. You will not regret booking this accommodation in Bansko with Laura. From booking to returning your every need is catered for by your hosts Mira & Piers . They make the stay !! Mira giving you literally a great taste of Bulgaria ( that Soup!!) and Piers makes sure you know where to get the best deals on money exchange plus any purchases and certainly ways to avoid the Gondola queue! Jay is also on hand making sure all is well and will sort anything out of the ordinary. (Thank you Jay for sorting the Doctors for my son). We all thought that this is the best chalet we have stayed in and would highly recommend.

We visited in half term February 2023. The chalet really does match the pictures. The food was fantastic every meal and our hosts were very helpful and had a lot of local knowledge. The lounge was very inviting and the lovely cake each day went down well. It was very relaxing in the evening with the glowing fire. The bedrooms were very comfortable and plenty of shower rooms and hot water. We did make a suggestion for an improvement and it was swiftly acted upon. (Thank you) There is a heated room to dry jackets, etc. out overnight. I would definitely recommend Total Chalets for your accommodation. Our hosts Mira and Piers really did make our stay enjoyable. We really enjoyed the Bulgarian meal. Piers was a great source of information on the local surroundings and history. We did travel in half term which did have some issues as Bansko was EXTREMELY busy on the slopes; that is once you get on the slopes. The gondola queues were far longer than I expected and we were expecting long queues. Once you get to the top of the gondola, (we queued for an hour and a half on the first day) there is disorganized chaos for the ski schools. The facilities, restaurants and toilet facilities were really struggling with the volume of people. Our helpful hosts, kindly dropped us off at a small piste and we were able to join the gondola mid station - you have to ignore the comments as you get in a gondola "its a private cabin" "I take two seats for me" , ski poles across the door etc. You have to laugh! Jay, co owner, kindly gave our beginner snowboarder some very useful tips which helped them master the drag lift - thank you. I hope Total Chalets continues to flourish and open a chalet elsewhere ( I know they have one in Andorra) as I shall be looking to rebook.

We stayed at chalet Jora last week, and can't thank Jay, Laura, Piers and Mira enough for making our stay such a wonderful experience. The chalet is clean, comfortable and perfect for a group of friends: we were nine people spread across all the different bedrooms. A couple of people had to do some work from the chalet, the wifi worked well and the view from the desk on the top landing is pretty unbeatable. The hosts have everything a group might need covered (honesty bar, games, smart TV, hairdryers, changes of towels etc), and provided very good (and generous portions) of food, perfect for apres-ski...the cakes baked by Piers also vanished very quickly. Piers and Mira are so kind and friendly, and shared a lot of interesting information about Bansko and Bulgaria. Aside from skiing all week we also enjoyed a visit to the mineral hot springs, and some of us visited the spa at the Kempinski hotel. A clear highlight of the week was the visit to the mehana recommended by Piers (great dinner, rakia and a very memorable atmosphere). The week in Bansko went very quickly. Thank you team for such a great experience, I would definitely recommend Total Chalets to any families or groups of friends looking for an affordable and comfortable stay at a ski resort! A last point is that communication is very speedy (thanks to Laura) and any last-minute changes to shuttles etc were dealt with swiftly. Merci Mira, Piers, Laura and Jay!

Had such a great stay at Chalet Jora. Jay and the hosts Mira and Piers thought of every little thing to make tbe stay perfect, the beds were comfy and food was great - (despite us being a bit of an unpredictable group to deal with timewise!) Thanks guys, would definutely recommend a stay here if youre visiting Bansko, they take the stress out of coordinating a ski trip!

Have done 2 years with total chalets and love the experience. The chalet itself is lovely, clean, cosy and perfect for a relaxing getaway or trip with friends. Only a short 15 min walk from the lift and very quiet and close to the old town of bansko. Could not recommend more!

We were three families together for a week of skiing and had an absolutely fabulous time. The chalet was lovely. Well furnished, clean and the hosts Piers and Mira looked after us beautifully. Such a treat to have delicious meals cooked for us every day, home made cake and attention to every detail. It wasn’t the best season for snow but we skied every day but one and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our day off was spent at the thermal springs. All in all a fantastic holiday.

Spent 4 nights in Bansko, my first time Skiing. Piers and Mira our hosts made us the most amazing 3 course meals, including cake, and our vegan pal was super impressed with their vegan good. It's beautiful in the chalet, roaring fire, plenty of space for us to all lounge watching a film with the surround sound smart TV. 4 showers and bathrooms, an honesty bar we never went without for anything we needed... and if we wanted anything they were only a text away. There are plenty of restaurants and bars around, they helped us arrange ski hire and even shuttled us around in the mini bus. We will be coming back next year .... its been a.m.a.z.i.n.g. !!

Had an amazing stay at Chalet Jora with a group of 13 for a week. The chalet was the perfect place for us to call home for the week and was easily big enough to accommodate such a large group. The chalet rooms were cleaned everyday and were comfortable and nice and warm through even the coldest Bulgarian nights. But the real stars of the show were our hosts Lee and Danii!! Even though our arrival was delayed and meant were got there at 2:30am, they were both extremely welcoming and had food prepared for our arrival. The food they made us throughout the week was always of the highest standard and just what was needed after a long day on the slopes. Their recommendations were very useful for both on the slopes and around town, including which bars were expensive and should be avoided and ways to beat the gondola queues in the morning. Lee and Danii certainly made our trip extra special and I will be highly reccomending Chalet Jora to friends and family.
