The Dana Hotel was the first hotel in Jordan run directly by the community. It is operated by the Dana and Qadisiyah Local Cooperative and profits go back to the community. Dana Hotel is built in the traditional Bedouin style of stone walls and sugar cane roofs. The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable. Double triple, quad and family rooms are available with ensuite or shared facilities. Breakfast is included in the tariff and the hotel offers a nightly dinner of trsditional Bedouin food. Lunch boxes are available on request. In the evenings, guests can enjoy dinner followed by traditional music, dancing and singing in the large bedouin tent. Dana Hotel offers local guides and hiking, and can arrange transportation to and from the airport or other parts of Jordan.
