Description
The Dana Hotel was the first hotel in Jordan run directly by the community. It is operated by the Dana and Qadisiyah Local Cooperative and profits go back to the community. Dana Hotel is built in the traditional More Bedouin style of stone walls and sugar cane roofs. The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable. Double triple, quad and family rooms are available with ensuite or shared facilities. Breakfast is included in the tariff and the hotel offers a nightly dinner of trsditional Bedouin food. Lunch boxes are available on request. In the evenings, guests can enjoy dinner followed by traditional music, dancing and singing in the large bedouin tent. Dana Hotel offers local guides and hiking, and can arrange transportation to and from the airport or other parts of Jordan. A stay at Dana Hotel is a unique experience, guests enjoy traditional Bedouin hospitality and are surrounded by the natural beauty of Wadi Dana. We stayed for one night in the Dana hotel. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and always ready to help. The rooms are very basic. There is no airconditioning in the room and the shower lacks water pressure.

Probably too late but just in case others came across this... Yes there is hot water and there are portable heaters in the rooms...
