Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Super little family like hotel on the cliff above Petra, only 5 min by car from the main entrance to Petra and museum. The owner and his brother are very nice, trying to guarrantie the best comfort. Rooms are clean and warm. Dinner can be ordered as well - serving delicious simple beduin traditional food. You are allowed to bring your own bottle of wine (and the owner likes vodka:-) . The communication is smooth and flexibe. Price, comfort, friendly environment, good food and view is the best rate.

A fantastic place, in a quiet area, with a stunning view over the city and a few minutes driving to the visitor centre. The rooms, furnished in an elegant Bedouin style , are comfortable, well equipped, and have a balcony overlooking the city. The chill out area offers an amazing view at sunset and at night. The breakfast, various and rich, and other meals, are served in an outdoor restaurant area. Furthermore the kindness of the owners makes this place a place where to go back to, definitely.

This is a nice little hotel with friendly staff. We had a good sized room with good A/C and wifi but no safe in the room. The bathroom was small with a tight shower cabin. Good coffee in the restaurant but dinner and breakfast were only so so. Not particularly bad but also not memorable (this is of course a matter of taste). Street parking is available next to the hotel. The hotel is situated within walking distance of the entrance to Petra but you have to be aware that the walk is steeply down to the visitor center and steeply up when you return. The view from the room was magnificent and you have your own terrace where you can enjoy the view after a long day in Petra.

This was a lovely place, so glad we booked. Its got lots of little special features, and they are continuing to improve these with a garden extension. Especially liked the massage chair after a long day walking in Petra, it was very welcome. Room was nice and cool too. We ate there for one evening and the food was lovely. The hosts were friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. Breakfast was good, and they did a takeaway breakfast one morning for us so we could set off siteseeing early A 5ish minute walk to Petra visitor centre. Would highly recommend.

A great place to stay to visit iconic Petra. Infinity Lodge is a trendy, friendly chic hotel 10 minutes walk from the entrance gate to the historical site but well away from the tourist bustle surrounding the centre of town, The rooms are very clean and comfortable and ours had a balcony with a stunning view over the town. There is a very relaxing lounge area and ample free parking. A special mention for the friendly efficient staff and the wonderful food. I am not a regular poster but so glad we chose to stay here . We had a wonderful stay at Infinity Lodge! Before arrival they arranged transportation from Amman for us, we had an excellent drive with Mohammad. Big shout out to him! Once there we were greeted warmly and shown to our room. The room was great- a comfortable king bed and a wonderful view. It has everything you need and is quite cozy. I chose this hotel to get more of a local feel and it really delivered. It’s an easy walk down to Petra’s entrance and a quick taxi ride back up. Now, the best part- dinner! We dined both nights at the lodge. While service was a little rushed (I would have liked to have finished my salad before my meal was brought, but no biggie :) the food was amazing. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. Definitely take dinner here if you have a chance. As I said we totally enjoyed our stay here, and you will too!

Beautiful property, very well kept. We took the 3 course meal for dinner which was delicious. Breakfast was sufficient. They do not have a gym, but there is a gym next door which charges 7JOD per session. View from room was amazing. Property is located in hilly area in the opposite direction to Petra, road around the lodge is quite steep. So if you are planning to walk to Petra best to avoid. Slightly away from the main market.

We stayed 2 nights and had a great time. We had 2 rooms and one was the family room which was so spacious! The decor was lovely, I especially loved the light fixtures. The views were amazing, and breakfast was tasty. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. They even made an omelette for my daughter each morning :) The only critique was the the rugs were very very slippery, but I mentioned it to Holly and she thanked me for the feedback and said she would get something for that. Overall, wonderful stay!
