Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice hotel very close to petra . Stayed in a double room on my own and it was as expected for a small independent hotel . The room was fairly big , clean and not to noisey . The staff are on hand to provide you with information . I would say it could do with beefing up the services a little . Like the option to have a drink or a snack whilst sitting in the wonderfull reception . The staff are all very friendly and kind we chatted to them every night . Perfect location to discover petra .

Stayed for 1 night in the Budget Double Room. It was a good size, with a comfortable bed and a view of Wadi Musa towards the Petra Visitor Centre. Wi-Fi had a strong connection. All the staff were friendly, special mention to Sami who was very welcoming and helpful, recommending a itinerary for our visit to Petra. Breakfast had a good a variety of items. Location wise, it's a 20-25 minutes walk from the entrance to Petra and where the bus arrives/departs for Amman. Plenty of places within a 5 minute walk of the hotel to eat and drink. Was able to store our bags there during the day which was great and they gave us little magnet gifts at check out which was a nice touch. Only slight negative was the lack of hot water in shower, it was just moderately warm but it wasn't a major issue for us. We would happily stay again if we returned!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Petra Plaza hotel. It is a quick drive to the Petra parking area, is close (walkable) to restaurants, has its own parking area and is very reasonably priced. The staff is welcoming and helpful and our room (family room) was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to provide a birthday cake for our son who turned 21 during our stay!

Stayed here for 2 nights. Nice hotel. Room was a good size, bathroom and shower were a bit small, but the water was very hot, which was nice. Sammy at the front desk was great. He drew us a little map with the best advice to see Little Petra/Petra and the amount we should for a taxi, which was good as all the taxi drivers wanted to charge more for the short journey from the hotel to the Petra visitor centre. Breakfast was ok. Dinner was good with very large portions. Lovely friendly people including the restaurant manager.

We stayed in the Petra Plaza for two nights whilst visiting Petra. The owner met us in the car park and we immediately felt welcome. Whilst checking in we were provided with tips on how to visit Petra which were priceless. The room had everything you needed and included water, fruit, snacks and soft drinks. Breakfast was provided early so we could get ahead of the crowds. On leaving the owner gave each of us a small gift which was lovely. If you are looking to stay in Wadi Musa don’t hesitate and book the Petra Plaza!!

We loved the hotel because everything was very clean, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was super attentive and helped us with all our questions and requirements. Additionally, the location is fantastic, within walking distance of the entrance to the Petra site and numerous restaurants. We found parking very easily near the hotel. We highly recommend it and we would surely repeat it.

Clean, small hotel in the centre of Petra. Short walk to the town centre and a 5 minute drive to the entry of Petra. Lovely views of Petra city in the morning due to the location. Rooms were clean. Wifi worked well. Staff were lovely - special thanks to Odai who spoke perfect English and went out of his way to help us. The minibar was stocked with complementary fruit and snacks and drinks. Breakfast was tasty. Small car park at the front of the hotel.
