Beautiful Bedouin styled luxury camp. Book direct for best rates by contacting them on WhatsApp. We got a dinner and breakfast included private deluxe tent at 30% less. The owner offered an upgrade to the beautiful Luxury tent which looks very modern and like a hotel. But I stuck to the deluxe and refused an upgrade as I wanted to stay in a Bedouin style tent albeit with private washroom. The hot and cold AC was working very well. We used it about 5 min twice to warm up our room twice. The mountains around the camp were lit up at night. The breakfast was good. The highlight was the lounge though, very beautiful and classily decorated in traditional style. Wifi is only available here. They serve nice Bedouin tea here. The dinner has a chicken dish which I don't know the right name but it was tasting good and the unknown vegetable dish was amazing too. The checkout was seamless. Must stay for a night after Petra especially if you want to visit Monastery backdoor.

What a perfect place to book. You have a true Bedouin experience from the food to the ambiance. The entire resort glows at night with the lights in the surrounding caves. Rooms are comfortable and the food is amazing. Don’t pass up the lovely woman making warm bread at dinner. Your host Mohammad doesn’t miss a detail. Sagar and Hammad were so attentive and always had tea, wine and sheesha for us. This resort is walking distance to do the hike from the back of Petra and then a quick taxi back when you finish at the front. Please go see our friends here and have an amazing experience.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and it was a great experience. The camp itself was very quiet due to the fact that many people had cancelled their holidays due to the war in Gaza. I suspect it would have been much more lively and entertaining had they been at full capacity. However, it was still very enjoyable. Sagar our host was very helpful and welcoming. The food was plentiful and in the evening they had a lovely fire with comfortable seating all around. Wifi was easily accessible in this area. The rooms were comfortable, quiet and had good showers. After dinner on the first night, our host along with other local camp people provided some interesting entertainment in the form of music. Almost like a chant. They lit up the camp with these amazing lights that were scattered in crevices in the hillside above. It really was beautiful and added to the ambience. The location was great especially if you wanted to visit Little Petra but more importantly if you wanted to go via the backdoor to Petra by visiting the Monastery first. I would definitely stay here again if I was visiting Petra, it is a unique experience and Sagar was the perfect host.

We had an amazing stay at the Little Petra Bedouin Camp. Mohammad was an amazing host, he made us feel so welcomed and he has created such a unique experience. The camp is beautiful, the beds were amazingly comfortable and the food was delicious. Mohammad put in so much care and detail into the camp, with 1000s of lights in the rocks to create a magical night experience. There is live music in the main tent after dinner, shisha, delicious tea and beer and wine. Sagar took great care of us all night long. The camp also has so many sweet and friendly cats, and a few happy dogs. Made the experience so much more! For those wanting to hike the back door to Petra, the entrance to little Petra is across the street from camp, could not be more convenient. Thank you Mohammad and staff for the best experience, I hope I can come again someday!

Staying here combines the luxury of a nice hotel with a Bedouin experience. The showers are hot, food is amazing and the site itself is mesmerizing. The stay exceeded my expectations in so many ways. The staff and owner are one of the kindest people we came across. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we skipped the Dead Sea just to stay here an extra day. we would def come again!

Whoa! This place definitely exceeded our expectations. We just needed a place to stay in order to visit Petra but this camp was a whole experience in itself! We got the cave room, which was super-cool. The ambiance here was off the charts. We loved that they had a big campfire circle with comfy places to chill and smoke shisha and drink Bedouin tea. They also had a musician playing a traditional stringed instrument and singing. We arrived late and left early, so we regret that we did not get to sample the food at the camp. Mohammed, who checked us in, speaks great English and gave us helpful travel advice. We chose to rise before sunrise and do the hike to Little Petra. We were able to walk right to the camp to the trail head. You need offline maps or a guide to do the trail. It is about 14kms and takes 5-7 hours, depending on how fast you walk, how much time you spend exploring the sites along the way and weather or not you choose to chill in a cafe or restaurant along the way. The scenery (snd, of course, Petra itself) is stunning and we didn’t think the hike was too challenging. There’s a lot of stairs, but anyone who is reasonable fit should be able to do it. Might be kind of miserable on a really hot day, though. We would definitely recommend Little Petra Bedouin Camp. We just wish that we had been able to stay for two nights instead of one.

This was an exceptional stay. We had a luxury king tent and we appreciated the air conditioning, comfy bed and fantastic shower. Everything felt new and was pristine clean. We also appreciated having these luxuries with the warm hospitality of our hosts. They have done a great job of creating interesting places to hang out - a garden courtyard, around a fire pit and a cozy inside lounge. They even have some feline therapists! There is a varied array of dishes for the buffet breakfast and dinner. The location is great too - we enjoyed taking the back entrance to Petra that bypassed the busier parts. I’m so thankful we picked Little Petra Bedouin Camp - not just a stay but a memorable experience. We hope to stay again soon.

A truly magical place to stay. Perfect location, ideal to see Petra from. Very calm and peaceful, very welcoming a friendly atmosphere at the camp, a great place to meet people. We arrived at night and Mohammed the manager and one of his co-workers were still present o welcome us with warm tea, check us in and even plan our itinerary for our stay. Our room was ideal, equipped with AC and a lovely warm shower, all the room amenities needed were provided. On day one we walked to the shuttle towards the back door entrance towards the monastery and walked the 5 hour back door hike which passed all of the amazing sites in Petra and ends at the visitors centre where we lunched and had a cold beer (much needed!) at the hotels nearby. we had breakfast and dinner at the camp - highly recommend and very delicious. Thank you Harpreet for being so attentive and for your fab service. We spent the evening int he indoor communal area listening to a local musician and beer from Petra. Day two involved a quick morning visit to Little Petra followed by a jeep tour of Wadi Rum for sunset arranged by Mohammed. Word cannot express how peaceful and serene the desert is in Wadi Rum. We returned late tot the camp for dinner and spent the evening around the outdoor communal fire pit under the stars, stunning. We decided we did not want to leave! The next day we had breakfast and left for the Dead Sea. Honestly, I cannot recommend Mohamed and his team enough, this little gem in Petra is out of this world. Thank you Mohamed, Harpreet, Sagar, Aysha, the cute lady who made warm bread at mealtimes and everyone at Little Petra Bedouin Camp. I cannot wait to return one day with our loved ones. Miss you all already!! Kajal x

Our room was perfect and provided welcome comfort at the end of a long day of sightseeing. On arrival I realized I'd need different shoes for the terrain and Salameen saved me by sourcing an appropriate pair on short notice. The diverse dinner buffet was delicious and provided lots of options for vegetarians. Lovely hosts, comfortable stay, highly recommend.
