For us Port of Call was just perfect! The house is located in a quiet location (about 8 minutes south of Simon's Town center) up on a hill with fabulous views onto the ocean, False Bay and the Eastern side of False Bay. Pushing back the shutters in the morning and looking out onto the water was the perfect start...

After a very long trip from the UK it was a fantastic start to our holiday. The hosts are wonderful but not too intrusive and the overall balance of the stay. The facilities are excellent and the view is the best.

Port of Call is a wonderful base for a trip to Simon's Town. The rooms are beautiful and the views stunning. We self-catered breakfast and ate on our deck. It was such a perfect spot we hated to leave.

We stayed for 11 nights and did not want to leave. The room was exceptional, very clean and tastefully decorated with glorious views across False Bay. Mariette and Paul were perfect hosts and we look forward to a return visit.

Simonstown is about as far south as you can get to stay in South Africa and Portofcall is about the very best you can expect from a guesthouse. It's clean, immaculate, beautifully positioned for views across False Bay and has the hosts from heaven. All in all a cool place to stay, miss it if you dare!

Dear Eric and Olivia The house felt so empty after you left and we sat for the next few evenings wondering where you were and what you were up to. It felt like family visiting and certainly left an empty space in our household. We loved your fantastic sense of humour and "Southerner baiting Paul" over breakfast. Please visit again...
