We had such a lovely and pleasant relaxing stay. The hostess thought of every detail and was very attentive. Perfect for couples and their dogs. We took a long walk every day with our dogs off the leash, and played with them every afternoon in the big open field. Our furbabies had an absolute ball. We will definitely be visiting again!

It was a beautiful place. Lovely decor. We had a warm welcome from Brian. Nicely enclosed space for the dogs, they loved it. Very tranquil. Our unit was tastefully decorated and had all the amenities we required.

We had a wonderful stay at Blue Roan - Acacia Cottage this weekend. We haven't enjoyed time away this much in a long time. We appreciated how welcome we were and how at home we felt at Blue Roan in Acacia. Our fur baby Leo had a blast in the gardens and on the farm and he was excited to be out in nature. We enjoyed the off lead walks on the farm and did as many as we could. I can't stop thinking about the weekend we had and really wished we had booked a 3 night stay. So we will be back and next time, it will be for 3 nights. Thank you to Judy and Bryan for being such wonderful hosts and for taking so much care in our interactions, we appreciate your hospitality.

Our stay was so amazing. It was my husbands birthday and this was not forgotten! On arrival we were welcomed by fresh flowers and a card personally congratulating him. Judy welcomed us and she truly knows how to show hospitality.

Location is excellent! Rooms are beautiful and so pet friendly. lovely walks with the dogs! Lovely braai areas, lovely dog park with manicured lawns. Judy and Brian are wonderful hosts. The Super Spar is close by for buying food etc. An hours drive from our home which makes the venue so accessible for a quick weekend away - even at the last minute if there is accommodation.

We have stayed at many dog friendly destinations and all of them good. However Blue Roan tops them all, we had such a sense that our dogs were safe, sound and happy and in that we were totally relaxed ourselves. Strangely I have a longing to return to that perfect balance on a dog holiday. Made even better by the fact we visited two wonderful restaurants within a 20km drive.

What an amazing place to relax and unwind. The fact that our borer collie could join us and was made most welcome was the cherry on the cake. The short walk around the property is great and if you are going to take your dog with they are completely safe. We will definitely be back
