To be fair, that this camping turned out to be somewhat of a disappointing experience was to little fault of the camping staff itself. We were unlucky with the site we got, being pinched in between two roads an therefor being next to a lot of people. Among who two very asocial France families. The dogs were uleashed and untrained, meaning they would be at our site multiple times (also in the middle of the night) and eating next to our tent was not possible (they came for our pizza on the night of our arrival). If the dogs behaved for a moment, there was always a kid or baby crying for attention. Goes without saying we have spent very little time on the camping itself. The one day we stayed close and wanted to go to the lake nearby (not part of the camping, as hinted on) it turned out it is prohibited to swim here. The little beach seems supervised and only watersports are allowed. Along the edges nobody cares about the ban, but there is also not really a way of laying comfortable. The pool and bar seemed to always be accomponied with loud music, in the evening beyond 23:00h. Toilets next to showers is unfortunate. All in all we were happy to only be here a few days.

Not enough sanitary facilities at the end of the campsite for more then 100 people only 3 toilets and 4 showers which means to stand in line for your turn! Due to power shortage not always hot water at the shower. Surrounding with pitches in the canyob is great with enough shadow. Very nice pool and good access to the lake

A busy and very family/activity oriented site but good amenities and very clean. Noisy evening entertainment but pitched furthest away so didn't disturb too much. Interesting location and good sized pitches.

We were really looking forward to our stay in a Safari Tent in Orgon and our initial reaction was good as the tent was new and spacious with all the things we would need for the week. It was a bit to close to a neighbouring tent and we should really have asked to move to a tent in a more isolated location as they have others further up the slope that are on their own. That's our mistake but something to consider as the family in the tent behind us were a little noisey in the morning. The welcome was a little weak as we were just given a basic map to find the tent and a special gift of a toilet roll. French humour? Well we laughed! Our first night there was a thunderstorm which concealed a problem! On the 2nd night we had loud music playing until 11pm, that was Thursday, okay we thought perhaps it's a one off. Friday night a DJ was playing club music 7pm to 11pm. The volume was turned up at 9pm and lots of trumpeting and dj shout outs. Mmmmm this is not the tranquil break in beautiful scenery that we thought we booked. I went to the bar to ask if the music could be turned down and the staff who though friendly were none the wiser told me to speak to the DJ. I explained that was not my job. I spoke to reception the next day and they were friendly but ineffective and explained music only played Friday Saturday and Sunday. This is not correct and what they meant was a DJ plays on those days but music is played every day. My suspicion is the operators are trying to boost their income by getting people to the bar. However I think this is backfiring as we saw a lot of campers move on after one night. So we just accepted the music and waited until 11pm for it to end before getting to sleep. Well that wasn't all that went pear shaped. On the last but one day we returned from a night out to Arles to find a large group of teenagers stood by the reception with cases in hand. Now we booked thru Pitchup where we checked that no large bookings were taken as we know this leads to noise. Well we then had two nights of loud music and loud singing followed by groups of teens trying to find their accommodation in the dark at midnight. The site was quiet in the day and we did enjoy the stay but won't return due to the night music.

We have known this camp ground since the 1990ies. It was a simple but beautiful camp ground for tents. Now It seems, it is mainly a place for small trailer homes to rent. The places for tents the camp ground doesn't really seem to care about. Back then, there were solar panels all over the place (progressive!), today there are no visible renewable energy sources installed on the camp ground at all. All nuclear energy. The pool was beautiful with tiles in the 1990ies and there was a nice pool for children. Now the pool only has a PVC-plastic foil (containing harmful plastic softener agents) - and no pool for children at all any more. Also there are many lamps on the camp ground that make it impossible to appreciate the night sky and the stars. It is optimized for pensioners, it seems. Other problems: -Showers cold or way too hot -Pool water extremely dirty (cloudy, algae-green). Pool officially not accessible for campers! Why? (but nobody is checking) -Confusion about booking. Errors and misunderstandings and inflexibility with changes of booking -No help with electricity connection, wrong cable adapter given to us -Overall bad condition of some buildings/facilities, mold at some spots

We stayed here last summer and loved it so much we came back this year. We were staying in one of the ‘wild’ tent pitches up the steep hill, which we chose especially as the are very private and spacious. We felt very comfortable and safe here, despite the Covid pandemic. The pool was managed well and was never too busy. The shared facilities such as toilet block were cleaned regularly and thoroughly. Although the restaurant was closed, there was a pizza van available Monday-Friday with reasonably priced pizzas. We brought our dog and found it easy to leave him in the shade just outside the swimming pool whilst we went in with our little boy. We like the location of the campsite: near a beautiful lake and close to interesting places such as Orange and the Pont du Gard. There are also some great long walks you can do from the campsite in the surrounding Alpilles National Park.

The location is great, also the little lake and the pool. The iwners are very helpful and lovely. If you habe a tent, its heavy to fix it because the ground is very hard with lots of stones. In total a great stay! I definitly recommend this camping.

We are a family of 5 and first time campers. My wife searched for a camping site in the Provence, one that is well located but not the usual over the top camping site. We found this little gem called Vallee Heureuse which is ideally located for those wanting to do day trips to Arle, Avignon or a little further to Marseille or to the Camarque region. The first thing you'll notice upon your arrival is that there's a lot of shade in each of the generous camping sites. It is also totally picturesque with a little lake below the site surrounded by rock formations which are ideal for a local hike. The whole team at Vallee Heureuse is totally dedicated to helping ensure a more than enjoyable stay and they are all super friendly. All in all a fantastic stay and we will return in July of 2021.

We stayed at the campsite. The view was beautiful, but that was it. The concreate around the pool was painful to walk on. The walk to the toilets way to long, just as to a waterpoint (there was none near the tent) and these was music every other evening till at least half past 11. We left earlier (and got no refund).
