My wife and I have been going to Plakias for the last 26 years so have stayed at many accommodations' there. We found the Irida to be a very comfy place to stay. It was one of the best equipped studios we have stayed in with lots of plug sockets throughout. This may sound strange but a lot of studios...

We booked the Irida after careful consideration of other hotels/ appts in Plakias. My husband and I both wanted somewhere tranquil to spend our honeymoon, having previously been to the northern resorts in Crete. We couldn't have been more delighted with the Irida studios, a beautiful little complex of only 9 appts with it's own pool. If you blink, you'd...

This was our third time at the Irida, and no surprise it was as good as the previous visits. Maria and Manolis were the usual excellent hosts. One change for this year, was the introduction of a toaster/sandwich maker in the kitchen, a welcome addition. Again one of the best studios we have stayed in in over 50 Greek resorts...

We booked a room here fairly last minute. Our usual hotel was full during the week of our choice. We were greeted on arrival and shown to our room. On first appearance it appeared to be a fairly simple Greek room with all the standard features. However, having used the room it became apparent that the beds were extremely comfortable,...

We returned to Plakias for our fourth visit in July of this year and this was our first stay in Irida. It was our 3rd trip with Olympic and would definitely rate this accommodation as the best of the 3 we have stayed in Plakias through Olympic Holidays. As other reviewers have mentioned, the bathrooms are new. Our room was...

We chose the Irida Studios for our sixth visit to Plakias, having viewed the place last October when we stayed at the Kostas Chrysoulla. Just out of the centre of Plakias about a 10/15 min walk to the centre, with a supermarket and a nice bakery just down the hill. The rooms were not the biggest but adequate, the bathrooms...

Just before you come to Plakias, you will find this small, cozy hotel. Everything is very well clean and tidy. The hosts are very friendly. Pool, sunbeds and bar in the quiet garden. The walk to the beach and the center takes about 5 minutes.

Stayed at Irida the last 2 weeks in October. For us the location was just right, others may want to be in the centre of Plakias. It's located about 10 minutes outside Plakias as you come into the resort from Rethymnon, on the roadside so there is some roadnoise, but quieter than being in Plakias centre. The hotel pool is...

Wow ! what a wonderful place to stay ! Maria & Manolis are wonderful ! We were dubious of the transfer time (took us 2 hours and 45 minutes on the big transfer coach with Olympic,( but we did have many drop off points along the way)) we'd already had a long day, and were glad to reach Irida at...
