The room was clean, comfortable and served our needs. The air conditioning was excellent and necessary given an unexpected September heatwave. We ate at the hotel both in the evening and at lunchtime on three or four occasions. The food was traditional, tasty and in sufficient quantity. Lunch time salads were excellent and Maria couldn't have tried any harder with...

Nikos and Maria gave us a very warm welcome. The whole place is spotless and the swimming and taverna area is cleverly planted with palms, trees and lovely flowers. We enjoyed watching the sun rise over the mountains each morning from our balcony. Maria took time and used her expert local knowledge to show us on a map some super...

From reading some previous reviews, we expected better than we experienced. Our first room was at the front overlooking the busy road and gas station. The road noise was virtually constant continuing throughout the night with the obligatory nolisy motor bikes adding to this just as you were getting off to sleep. The gas station opens early and closes late...

We liked the garden and the swimming pool of the hotel. The hotel is located between two roads - from one side is a gas station and you hear the cars all the time. We didn't like the room at all - small room with huge balcony, very small bathroom with very low water pressure (at 2d floor it was...

We stayed at the Oasis for two weeks. Our apartment, No 1 (at back, no safety deposit box and WIFI is to be paid for) was spacious with long, private balcony, and reasonably quiet, considering this hotel is located between two roads; the front road being busy, noisy, and next to a gas station. The location is outside of the...

Many thanks to Maria & Nikos for such a lovely holiday, in their spotlessly clean hotel. They clearly work very hard to take care of guests' needs and nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful views from our balcony of the White Mountains. Lovely walks into the village, to beaches and into the hills. Good home cooking waiting when we returned....

Fantastic hosts offering good food, clean apartments and friendly banter. Our first time in Crete and would definately return. I can see why so many have such high regards of Nikos and Maria. Nothing is too much bother for them to encertain a fantastic holiday for all who stay there. Thankyou. Mark and Wendy Brooks.

We have been visiting Nikos & Maria for the past 9 years and feel like extended family when we visit. Very welcoming and helpful if you want to know a good place of interest/beach to visit. Everything you want to know about local services available: dive centres, boat trips, donkey trekking, car hire and Maria can also recommend a good...

Very friendly staff but if they can they don't miss the occasion to earn some money on the tourists. My and my partner have got a very small room. There was no place to turn around. Towels and bedclothes are changed only 3 times per week. Very poor breakfast. The hotel is situated outside the city (20 minutes walk distance)...
