What a great pension this is....traditional comfortable rooms including the bed; tasty generous breakfast; great location....and one of the most important elements of the place, Lena the Manager of the pension is very kind and helpful...when I got sick in Nafplion she took me straight to the local hospital...and explained everything to me! She' s a godsend!😊

My daughter and I spent four nights at Pension Rigas, and enjoyed it very much. Beautiful old fashioned building. Great location on a quiet street just off Syntagma Square. Lena provides a warm welcome and does everything to make you comfortable. A great value in beautiful Nafplio.

My boyfriend and I were recommended this pension. As soon as we arrived the host, Lena, was very welcoming. She was well educated about the town of Nafplio and told us a lot about the history. We had great conversations with her as well, she wants you to be as comfortable as possible. We had planned to only stay one... More

Pension Rigas is only a couple of metres away from the main square of Nafplio: you're in the centre, near all the bars, restaurants and shops, but in a quiet place for sleeping. The beach is only a seven minute walk. It's also very near to the bus station. Lena is your host and she makes you feel very welcome... More

From the moment we arrived at Rigas and were greeted by Lena and we felt right at home. The hotel was historical with antique furniture, and a lovely garden. Lena assisted us in finding buses to Mycenae and Epidavros, and a fabulous restaurant down the street from her cozy little place. The street where the pension is located was a... More

Lena was such a great host! She treated us like we were old friends. We had a great time. The pension is very old and interesting, with beautiful antiques. The quaint garden patio was very lovely and peaceful, with pretty flowers. We stayed in the largest room, (triple) which is a teeny bit more, but worth it. I would stay... More

Lena, who runs the hotel, is very sweet and very helpful. Her recommendations on where to eat were spot on! The hotel is in a perfect area close to all historical places, restaurants, and shops. We stayed on the floor and had wifi in the room. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend it for everyone. The only negative... More

“We were in the room on the top floor with a balcony. Very nice room, but the view was mostly the run-down building across the narrow street and just over the top to the distant views (as shown on their web site photos). Liked the room, but don't expect much of a view. Many of the other rooms were very small, but nice. My husband insists that we were sleeping on box springs with no mattress.”
