We made a reservation from booking. On photos everything was nice and beautiful actually. We took the best suite in this “5” stars hotel ... When we arrived we get shocked of course. It was totally different live picture. The door in shower room don’t even lock... a tree door

I stayed in Amphitryon Hotel for two nights and I am very pleased with my choice. I asked for a room on the 3rd floor and the view was amazing. The room was ample and well-taken care of, with all the amenities one could ask for. The bathroom was rather small but luxurious, with

We visit Nafplio once a year as it is our favorite place. Normally we choose mid-range boutique hotels and they are always lovely but this time we decided to splurge and stay in this amazing hotel. It turned out to be really special. First of all, no other hotel has its view,

And mine was perfect to look upon, as I rose from my very comfortable bed. An excellent breakfast, but I did find my evening treat of a G &T to be rather over-the-top, at Ten Euro! The rooms were impeccably clean, and with a very attractive decor. well recommended.

This hotel has fantastic views and a great breakfast. However, if you want a room with "separate" beds, forget it. Their idea of "separate" is one bed frame with two twin mattresses in it. There is no separation whatsoever. My friend and I have traveled together for 10 years

There are basically four swimming options open to you, if you stay at the Amphitryon Hotel: 1.You may use the pool at the sister hotel the Nafplia Palace, free of charge. This is above and behind the Amphityron and is reached through a lift. The pool was unfortunately shut when we were there, as it was late in the season. 2. If you walk along the seaside path from the hotel around the promontory you will come to a place where you can swim and possibly sunbathe after about 100 yards. It is somewhat dilapidated, and I don't think that you can hire loungers etc there. 3. You can drive a couple of miles out of the town to the south to Karathonas Beach. This is a large sandy bay with plenty of parking. It does not have a lot of atmosphere, but there is a cafe there and the opportunity to hire a lounger. 4.The town of Tolo is a few miles further south, but not on the same road. This is quite a big resort with a long beach, lots of bars and cafes and loungers are available. It tends to be quite busy and noisy, and full of children. It is also where the excursion boats leave from to go to Hydra and Spetses. ,
